Exposition
Allegra Monroe, an intelligent daughter of a once-wealthy family, touched down in Manhattan with nothing but a few fake papers and the name of the billionaire who destroyed her father’s work and got away with it, Damian Voss. In a city where power is traded in whispers, Voss is untouchable, charming in public, ruthless behind closed doors, and shielded by a world of money and secrecy. Allegra’s not here to make a name for herself. She’s here to tear Voss Empire apart.
Inciting Action
Allegra works her way into the heart of Voss Industries, passing as a capable, quiet strategist, someone who keeps confidences and gets things done. Under Damian Voss’s watch, she plays the part without a slip, but after work hours, she feeds encrypted files to the group set on bringing him down. Every document taken, every wire tapped, every lie told moves her closer to payback. Still, the more time she spends near him, the harder it gets to see things in black and white. He’s colder than she imagined, but not unfeeling. And that makes him harder to hate.
Rising Action
The sabotage hits. A Voss Industries jet crashes under mysterious circumstances, killing two senior executives and igniting a corporate firestorm. Days later, confidential documents surface online detailing financial crimes, offshore accounts, and old enemies rising from the ashes. Damian scrambles to contain the fallout, and Allegra watches the cracks spread from inside the walls. The deeper she digs, the more twisted the truth becomes, revealing shadows Damian doesn’t talk about, things he’s buried, and somewhere inside all of it is a version of the story Allegra was never told, the one that turns everything on its head, yet they circle each other.
Two predators behind glass walls. Her mission demands distance; her body betrays her. Their attraction is volatile, fast, forbidden, and laced with mistrust. A kiss turns into a war. A night turns into leverage. Allegra begins to wonder who’s playing who?
Climax
The war between them erupts behind boardroom doors and in whispered phone calls at 3 a.m. Damian suspects a mole, but Allegra covers her tracks, barely staying ahead of detection. Their encounters grow messier, sharper, more intimate, fueled by tension that neither of them can control. Allegra discovers that Damian didn’t just destroy her family, he was used, manipulated, and framed. The people she’s working for don’t want justice; they want power.
Trapped between a mission she no longer believes in and a man she was raised to hate, Allegra has to make a decision.
Take the final shot or switch sides and lose everything she’s built her life around.
Denouement
As Voss Industries buckles under pressure and the final pieces of the conspiracy are exposed, Allegra faces the fallout of her betrayal. Damian knows. He’s not the same man who offered her trust, nor is he the monster she came to destroy.
Love was never supposed to be part of the plan; neither was survival but as the empire collapses around them, the only way out may be together.
Allegra must answer one final question:
If she tears down the walls he built, will there be anything left of either of them?
