XXV HomecomingThe Mosquito came in for a landing on the abandoned runway without any engine trouble or bad luck to slow their descent. The plane touched down smoothly as well as any aircraft of this vintage could, and Hunter was grateful that it had done so in one piece when he finally shut down the engines.
