Chapter 4

After spending a while on the room just admiring my beauty, I heard another knock at the door, what is left for them to do again.

I walked up to the door and opened it and I saw two pretty girls, they were giving rich vibes, and after properly examining their body, I could guess that he is around the same age as me.

"Hello," I said.

"Hi!," they both said at the same time.

I was just staring at them, waiting to hear what they wanted to say, but damn the silence was so loud.

"Awkward," one of them said.

I'm so glad, she realized that.

"Sorry, I'm Jessica," one of them said.

"And I'm Chloe," the other one said.

"Oh, I'm Allyson," I said.

"We are your.." Chloe said slowly and took a look at Jessica as they both said "stepsisters!!" Loudly.

"Stepsisters ?" I asked with shock written on my face.

"Yes," They both replied.

"Wow," I said.

"I know right," Chloe said.

"Yeah," I said.

"I feel so nervous. I couldn't sleep yesterday night because of their wedding," Jessica said.

"I thought it was only me," I said, I was so happy to see someone who could relate to me.

"Well, I was nervous but it didn't affect my sleep," Chloe said.

"Yeah, every body knows, sleep is beneficial to you," Jessica said.

"Obviously yes," Chloe replied.

I laughed out loud because they were so funny, I was never prepared to have a stepsister, not two at that.

"Lets get going to the wedding," Jessica said.

We all went outside and another car is here to pick us, I don't really know too much about cars but I can tell that this car is super expensive.

We entered the car and it seemed like they were waiting for someone else to join us the way they kept on looking outside the window.

"Are we waiting for somebody?" I asked.

"Yes," Chloe answered as she brought her phone out trying to make a phone call.

"Who?" I asked looking curious.

"Our older brother," Jessica answered.

"My stepbrother?" I asked.

"Well...yes," Jessica answered.

"Ok, so you'll meet us there," Chloe said as she was on a call. She disconnected the call and faced us and said "He said he will join us there."

"Okay," Jessica said.

"The driver started driving us to the hotel that the wedding is being held, at KRC hotels. That is the biggest hotel in the city.

After spending almost forty minutes in the car, we finally got there, we alighted from the car and I took my time to look at the structure of the hotel, this hotel is so huge, I guess nothing can shock me today again, I've seen enough.

We entered the event room and it was beautifully decorated. We found our way to our seat, not too many people are here, since it is an invitation only wedding.

They served us different kinds of food, u did not waste much time, I started eating.

Not too long after I started eating, the wedding started, I did not really raise my head up that much, I was spending more of my time on my food, till I heard the M.C welcoming my mum's husband or my new father or stepfather or whatever, it's going to take me a long time to adjust to this.

"Let's welcome Mr Almanzar!" I heard as the mc said, the name sounds do familiar, I'm racking my brain to remember where I heard that name from.

I finally remembered Mr Almanzar is one of the most richest man in the country, he has many successful companies, that explains all the rich treatment I've been getting.

My mum's really got the rich man in her bag, I'm so shocked, I literally said nothing can shock me today again but this is just beyond shocking.

He walked in with his well designed suit, I'm very sure that suit is going to cost over millions of dollars, he's walking down the aisle like a millionaire that he is.

He sat down where the groom is meant to sit and what remains is for the bride to walk in, now I'm seated, I can't wait to see my mum walking down that aisle to her millionaire husband.

The light of the room focussed on her as she entered the room. She was dressed in a white wedding gown with crystals aligned on it. The crystals glowed the light shined on her, my mum kept on walking with confidence. I've never been so proud of her in my entire life.

Many people were clapping as she entered.

"Your mum is so beautiful," Chloe said.

"I know right," I replied.

After spending a lot of minutes walking, she finally got to her seat and looked at her husband with joy, she seems so happy.

The ceremony kept on going, people were dancing. I really did not want to dance so I sat down.

"What are you doing? Let's dance," Jessica said as she walked towards me.

I feel so tired inside of me, I'm not really in the mood.

"No I'm not dancing," I told her.

I'm not even a dancer in the first place, I don't really dance so why would I even dance in the first place.

"No stand up," Chloe pulled me as she was holding a glass of wine in her hands, as I resisted to stand she accidentally poured the wine on my dress.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," She apologized.

I'm not really mad but I am annoyed that I fold he I was not interested in dancing but she still wanted to force me to.

"No problem, where is the restroom?" I asked.

"It is outside by the left," Jessica answered.

I could tell Chloe was sad that she slipped the wine on my dress.

I just went outside. On my way to the restroom, I bumped into someone.

"Sorry." I said as I raised up to see who I bumped into.

As I raised my head up, I saw a face I never thought I would see here, my heart started beating fast like it would explode. It's Zach !!!!

What on earth is he looking for here, he looked at me and turned his head back to where he was headed to and kept on going.

He was wearing a tuxedo and his hair was well combed, this is the first time I'm seeing him like this, his blue eyes were glowing from where I was standing, how can a man ever be this perfect.

I literally froze where I was. I ran into the restroom and kept on wondering what he was looking for here.

I took some water and cleaned a little out of the wine that stained my dress.

As I was cleaning, Zach keeps coming to my mind, cause I was so confused as to what he is looking for here. What if he is a friend of Chloe and Jessica. Maybe or he was related to one of rich guests that came for the wedding.

I was so deep in thought as I entered the reception hall, and I felt someone tap me, I looked around and I saw Chloe holding my hand.

"Hey," I said as I waved my hand.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked.

"Nothing really," I replied.

"I have someone to introduce to you," she pulled me to meet Jessica.

I noticed that a guy was with Jessica, is that not Zach?

"This is our brother," Jessica introduced Zach to me.

I literally froze for some seconds before I got back to myself.

"Hi," I said.

Oh my gosh, I'm finally talking to him, my heart is about to explode, his eyes are literally staring at me right now. What should I do? I wish I can disappear, and I also wish to stay here forever in his gaze.

"Hey, I'm Zach," he said as he stretched forth his hand to shake me.

"Allyson," I said as I also brought my hand forward to shake him.

His shake felt like a supernatural force on my hand, I could feel adrenaline rush all over my body from this shake. I don't want to let go of his hands, I want to hold on to it forever.

But how can he be my stepbrother, why? Why couldn't he just be a family friend.

It's going to be weird to keep crushing on him now.

I finally let go of his hands.

"Welcome to the family," he said.

Why is he he hot the way he is talking, what the hell. But it is also annoying the way he said welcome to the family, like there is no hope for me to keep crushing on him, there is no hope for me already, why am I still thinking about this crush thing, I'm so tired of myself.

The wedding kept on going, while everybody kept on partying, while I kept in doing the obvious, sitting and watching my crush dance in the beautiful lights in the dark.
