FOUR: HAPPY ENGAGEMENT.

~ August's Pov ~

I stepped down the carriage hoping to see my brother after a month. I looked everywhere but no sign of him. ' could he be at practice? '. I asked myself worried. I then told Hazel to wait for me at the guests room, she agreed and walked away. Just then i heard water splashing and not the good kind of splashing. I rushed only to see Sol using magic.

~ Sol's Pov ~

Reina said that she wanted to teach me how to control my powers more clearly. She explained that she was the best in water magic and she could teach me that first. She brought a bucket and filled it up with water , I've gotten more or less better in controlling my powers over this past month. Out of a hundred ( 100 ) i would say thirty ( 30 ). Reina put the bucket in front of me and I awakened my powers, i controlled the bucket of water and used it to create so many things like water animals, food and vehicles. It continued for a while and I started loosing control of my powers, i tried to stop but it only got worse the water started splashing on Reina and i could do nothing to stop it, the ' Secrial Crest ' was still showing in my eyes and i couldn't allow anyone to see me like that. I tried my best to stop but I lost control pretty soon until August arrived and helped me out.

~ August's Pov ~

When I reached where i heard that watery sound I saw Reina been drained with water and Sol trying to stop it but couldn't i quickly invaded and helped. " Esfolit ". I said and the water dropped down splashing on everyone's dresses. " You okay? ". I asked them worried. " August? ". I heard Sol say my name with fear, he turned around and my mouth dropped. He's eyes had the ' Secrial Crest ' in it. The Crest of destruction. I wanted to say something to Sol but the Crest quickly faded and Sol gave me a warm smile. " Welcome back, big bro August " Sol greeted me cheerfully. " You're really amazing big bro August, i didn't know that you could also control water magic ". Sol said. " Well, I'm getting used to mastering all the six ( 6 ) element's ". August responded. " Am, hello I'm still wet ". Reina complained. " Do you want me to heat you up with fire magic? ". Sol suggested. " Do I look like i want to turn into a roasted chicken? " Reina asked sarcastically and i laughed at her statement. " Uh-huh, that's so mean big sis Reina ". Sol whined. " Hey, Sol ". " Yes ". " Wasn't that the ' Secrial Crest ' that was in your eyes just now? The Crest of destruction ". I said seriously waiting to get a reasonable answer. " Well, that can't be possible. Only the next Demon King is allowed to be born with the ' Secrial Crest ' and I'm already a prodigy, so.... ". Sol said acting strangely. " Maybe you were just seeing things ". Reina butted into the discussion. " Maybe you're right. But what were you doing anyways? ". I asked curious. " Reina was teaching me water magic ". ' Since when does Reina teach magic? '. i asked myself. " Big brother August, how was your stay with the Vespertine's? And Where's Niriena? " Sol asked me eager to know. " Well, it all went pretty good and Niriena is going to stay with the Vespertine's for a week to perform some ceremonies ". " So that means that she's not that bad, and you're going to get married to her? ". " Well, Yes. The Vespertine's aren't as bad as we think ". August said. " At least let us meet your new wife before explaining to Sol all the boring parts ". Reina said rudely. " Alright. let's go ".

~ Sol's Pov ~

August took us to the guests room and there appeared a young beautiful lady around Amelia's age. She had blonde hair and blue eyes, her hair was packed in low ponytail and reached her bottom. " Guys, meet the girl I'm engaged to, Hazel Vespertine ". " Nice to meet you ". I and Reina bloated out ". " Nice to meet you too ". Hazel said nicely. " Hazel this is Sol, he's a prodigy and the youngest son, and this is Reina the 6th daughter, she's just a year older than Sol ". August explained. " But I'm still he's elder ". Reina said and I rolled my eyes. "He's a prodigy, now that's what you don't see everyday ". Hazel said. " What's going on here? ". My father accompanied with my mother and my siblings entered into the guest room looking at Hazel. " Dad, this is Hazel the girl you got me engaged to ". August said rudely. " I know that, I'm just asking why you didn't introduce her to me first before introducing her to Sol and Reina? ". My father said disappointed. August rolled his eyes and began introducing everybody. geez i never knew August had this kind of darkside, i thought to myself. " Father this is Hazel from the Vespertine's family and Hazel this is my father ". " Nice to meet you Duke Daystar ". " Nice to meet you as well ". " And this is my beautiful mother, Elizabeth ". August said as my mom giggles because of the praise. " Nice to meet you ". My mum said. " And this are my other younger siblings Amelia, Jude and Alex ". " It's nice to meet all of you ". Hazel stood up from her chair raising her long ball gown with her hands and bowing to all of us. " Oh, there's no need for that, you are the princess of the neighbouring kingdom ". My mother said appreciating her. " Yes, but as a noble i must be loyal and respectful wherever I go ". " Interesting, your father thought you well I see ". My father said approving her behavior. " He did ". Hazel responded proudly. " Thank you so much for marrying our brother, sometimes he can be a torn but please bear with him ". Amelia said teasing August. " Hmmmm ". Hazel giggled a little. " I will ". " Amelia! ". August yelled at her. " Happy Engagement big bro ". I yelled out happy for my brother. " Yeah ". Amelia said. " Happy Engagement ". My mother said. " Happy Engagement ". then my father. " C'mon Jude and Alex, congratulate your brother? ". my mother said. " For what, just because of he's getting engaged? ". Alex said rudely. " Alex!? ". my mother said. " No, he's right Mom, what's the point? i mean they both will divorce one day ". " Jude?!! ". My father said now boiling with anger. " Don't you dare speak like that ". August shut them up, seeing the blood lust in August's eyes they walked away. " hah ". My mother signed. " What am I going to do with those boys? ". my mother asked. " I feel so ashamed for not raising them properly". My mother said sadly almost shading some tears. " It's not your fault Elizabeth ". My father cheered her up. " Well, let's just forget about that? ". Amelia said. " Yeah, and welcome home Hazel ". Reina said. " No, no. She'll only be staying here for a week when Niriena returns ". August said. " Yeah, that's how marriages work, you can't move in until you're fully married ". i explained to Reina. " huh, seems like a long process ". Reina Said. " Well, you will get engaged soon Reina ". My father said. " When? ". i asked. " When you reach fifteen ( 15 ) you can be engaged according to your status ". August said. " It's so hard to believe that you're smiling like this August, i mean you never wanted to marry Hazel from the start so what changed your mind? ". Amelia asked already full away of what she was saying. " Well, i got a little help from my beloved younger brother ". August winked at me. " Who? Alex ". Reina said. " No of course not , i meant Sol ". August fully said. " Oh, so you've turned into a match maker, heh? ". Amelia asked getting closer to me. " Noooo ". I said trying to run away but she pulled me with my ear.

~ Sol's Pov ~

A carriage packed infront of our mansion and I went out to see who it was bit when I reached there i almost screamed my voice down. " Big sis Niriena ". I said hugging her. " Sol, How are you? . Niriena asked. " Fine. Missed you ". I said. " Missed you too ". Niriena said. " Niriena ". Hazel came outside. " Hazel " . Niriena called out. " How was your your stay there? Did you do all of the necessary things? ". Hazel asked. " My stay there was good except for your annoying little brothers but I had fun. And Yes I did all the necessary things and attended all the necessary ceremonies for the engagement ". Niriena replied briefly. " Thanks so much ". Hazel said appreciative. " Welcome ". Niriena replied as August entered the scene. " Hi, Niriena. How was your stay there? ". August asked. " Pretty well I'll say ". Niriena replied. " Great ". August said. " Oh, and August... ". Niriena called. " Yes ". August replied. " Happy Engagement, i hope you both live happily ". Niriena said. " What do you mean, aren't you coming back? ". August said sadly. And Niriena nodded ' No '. " Why? ". Hazel asked. " I want you guys to know each other better, to teach people that the ' Daystar ' family and ' Vespertine ' family can work together. I also want to go see and explore many kingdoms and capitals ". Niriena explained. " I see. Well i understand your decision ". August said. " Thanks brother. And Hazel you can live with August, I've already done the necessary paper works ". Niriena said. " Thanks so much ". Hazel jumped up and down like someone who just won a lottery. " August help me explain to dad and tell him that I'll visit frequently ". " Alright ". " Sol ". Niriena called out to me. " Huh ". " Good bye, I'll miss you ". " I'll miss you too big sister Niriena ". " Take care of yourself and tell the others that I'll miss them as well ". Niriena said. " Okay ". I replied. " Bye ". Niriena said as the carriage started moving. " Bye ". Hazel said. " Take care of yourself ". August said. And i watched as Niriena went. I will miss her but I have more important things to worry about, like how ' I'm Going To live My Life In This World As The Reincarnated Demon King? '
