Chapter 66: Snow and Knives Alex I had been sitting in the garden for a very long time. I sat there for so long that I almost forgot where I was. I did not move, and I did not speak. I just sat on the cold stone bench and looked at the trees. The rest of the world felt very distant to me. Everything felt muted, as if the entire world had been covered in a heavy blanket.
