A FEW HOURS EARLIER
King Sebastian made his way through the hallway, his fists clenched tightly together as he walked toward the room where Elsie had been held. His footsteps echoed on the walls of the castle as his steps could tell how angry he was. His wife's face flashed in his mind as he moved angrily, pale, fragile, and lifeless. The fact that he was trapped in the lycan kingdom while Ava fought her life alone, made matters worse.
"Move aside!" King Sebastian commanded the guards who stood in front of the door. He quickly pushed open the door, the metal hinges grinding against one another as it flung open. The room was well lit to her liking and in the corner sat Elsie, with a stern face as she watched King Sebastian walk towards her furiously.
