Chapter 6
The scarlet dressBoggoron and Deva arrived at Urak’s spectacular gorge at noon on a brilliantly sunny day. Every leaf blazed and not a shadow warned her of the true nature of the place she was entering. She looked around her with delight. There had been a heavy shower earlier and the limestone walls were still strung with the gleaming threads of waterfalls glinting in the sunlight. Their voices sang out from every crag and gully, and it seemed to her she was walking into an enchanted place where everything was light and bright and joyous.
