(Lucas’ POV) After having left Sarah a note to let her know not only that I’d stepped out of the office for a bit, and why, but also letting her know about a few things I needed done, I headed out to catch the elevator down to the lobby. Stepping into the open space of our lobby, I immediately cringed. The lobby was in absolute chaos due to the sounds coming from the security check-point which everyone had to pass through. I wasn’t sure what was going on, but people were stopping to watch as someone was shouting for some reason. I didn’t want to get caught up in all that, so I turned and headed toward the back of the lobby where our emergency exits were. On my way out, I texted my head of security to let him know I’d be opening one of the doors which would trigger the silent alarm. On
