I move as fast as I can closer to the trees where the hunters are staking out with sniper guns and bow and arrows. I place my hands on the bottom of one of the trees and close my eyes to pray to the moon goddess and Lady Eve again for strength. Handling the fire used up so much of my strength, I don’t know if I have enough left to do what I have to do.
I take a deep breath and feel my eyes glow. I am able to command the branches to wrap around the hunters, pinning them to the trees. Vines move out from the trees, and I am able to isolate a few hunters that are fighting closest to the treeline by commanding the vines to wrap around their necks. It’s enough of an effort to disarm the hunters and give us more of an advantage.
