When Nicole gets that look in her eyes, there is no swaying her. She was bold with my dad in the cells about getting Kendrick the basic necessities. I laughed out loud seeing her command him in a respectful, but firm way. He couldn’t say no to her demands, and soon Kendrick had a thin bedspread and bandages for his broken ribs and nose. He was still being held in the cells, but he was a lot more comfortable than we would have left him.
We immediately went to my dad’s office and started working on a plan to handle the Brother group. Nicole was yawning constantly and I had convinced her on the way to go to my room to lie down. With everything she has done today, it would only make sense for her to be tired.
