3: Prospecting for Father~

1754 Words
Father left us a newly developed item that allows us to view the profile of people through a pop-up screen that only we can see. It serves as a multi-tasker for us essential beings. It also allows us to see our own statuses and current conditions. Really helpful in times like finding a match for father~ but I wonder why they made something like this… “Captain Razelli Ernax of the Red Gaga Squad,” Axent briefs us three while we 'very' 'secretly' eavesdrop on father and his visitor. “Busty-” “You mean busy,” Zorg interferes. “You sometimes bite your tongue, Axent…” “He said busty, dork.” I hit him in the head, “Also, Axent doesn't speak through mouth, you imbecile…” “T-that hurt,” Zorg tears up. “Shush,” Dizane glares at him. “Axent hasn't done his profiling yet…” “As I was saying, she is busty, obviously a redhead, likes wearing those kinds of revealing clothing, she has the power of the wind and she is the goddess of luck.” Axent finishes with the briefing, “what do you dear siblings think?” “Father's main power is darkness for courage and his secondary power is ice for fear,” I tried pondering over for a bit. “It looks like father does not need luck anymore.” Zorg looks at me, “E-exactly why?” “Because father has us already,” Dizane cheerfully gives us thumbs up. “I-I don't get it…” Zorg sighs. “If you don't get it, it does not matter,” Axent smirks. “Even if you are a bit low on IQ, you are still our beloved brother~” “I hate you,” Zorg turns away and puffs his cheeks. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ “I've heard that your cores hatched some time ago, congratulations.” Razelli commends father, “Let me guess, you are their father now…” “Unfortunately… I am,” he begins to smile a little, just a little bit. “At least, I can see effort with that smile,” she chuckles. “Anyway, I received reports of some mass gathering of defects south of our core. This could be a good chance to do a raid. I was hoping if you’d give me a go signal for this.” “Defects, huh…” “We've singled out traitors within Essential Core, Head Captain. Plus, I am the goddess of luck…” “Okay,” Father nods, “but as long as you have another essential being with you including her forces.” “I've got somebody in my thoughts already, Leozena Xalia~” she cheerfully grabs his hand and shakes them. “I knew you’d allow me to do the raid.” “Y-yes,” father looks away, “they are also shaking with your movements… please be modest…” “What's shaking?” she stops the shaking and waves goodbye, “I'll bring back great news!” ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ “Wait who is Leozena Xalia?” Dizane looks at their profile. “Allow me,” Axent browses the name and proceeds to brief us again. “She is the goddess of service and the captain of the Yellow Cara Squad.” “Who the hell gives them those names?” I raised an eyebrow. “Apparently it's our real father-mother creator, Lord Xpir. He even gave the essential beings the wrong color schemes. Just look at Captain Razelli, she is red but she is luck. Red is more like passion, war, and anger. Even father's blackness does not match his courage attribute…” “So about Captain Leozena,” Dizane taps Axent’s foot. “Her bust size is larger than Captain Razelli, she's blonde, her costume has furs on it and she has the producing rays of light.” “O-one question,” Zorg anxiously raises his hands, “Why is bust size needed? Shouldn't we add the other vital statistics as well?” “You boys have your own to deal with,” Dizane stares blankly at Axent and Zorg. “I'm only interested with the compatibility.” “Well, just like your mom, Dizane, opposites did attract~” I grinned. “But… I wonder what bust size I had before~” Dizane chuckles. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ “I was looking all over for you, my children,” father sarcastically acts like a parent. “What were you doing while I was away?” “Match-making,” Axent whistles. “We are looking for your Miss Right~” Father stumbles, “R-really that honest? You guys are so innocent…” “Was mom's bust size important to you?” Dizane stares at father. “Just a sec,” father covers his nose for some reason. “B-bust size doesn't matter to me…” “Judging from your... our father's expression, I guess they were above average,” Axent concludes. “Zorg, where's your voice in this?” father glances at dork. “A-along with t-the siblings…” “This is useless,” father sighs. I was really wanting to start counting his sighs from here on out. “Listen, uh you kids will be taken to the Great Hall to meet Lord Xpir, our creator. You'll meet other hatchlings like you and the rest of the important figures from the Core. I want you to behave and keep your ‘special kid mission’ a secret for our sakes, okay?” “He meant for his sake,” Axent smirks. “Don't you worry dear father, we will do it in subtle ways~ thanks to this lens you’ve given us.” “That, my dear children, is called the ANALYSIS LENS. It helps enhance the brain’s function to better visualize general to specific details about the beings around us. This is still a prototype but upgrades will be made soon.” “Question,” I raised my hand. “What are the orbs?” “These,” father shows his five black orbs, “these are Lord Xpir's special gifts so that in his absence we can call upon our personal and more powerful versions of our weapons. My weapon is called… the Heart Five. It is a cross between a scythe and a scepter,” he turns the orbs into the scythe-scepter, “See?” “It looks like it's designed to be displayed,” Axent inspects it widely opening his dark green eyes. “It does look sturdy, sharp, and magical…” “Still, it looks cool and pitch-black,” Dizane inspects. “Why does it not have a tinge of blue on it?” “It is sapphire, just like your color.” Father explains, “Heart Five is full black because it reflects my true essence, courage.” “I-I still don't think the color matches with the essence,” Zorg voices out his opinion. “Father,” I grabbed his scarf in a soft and sweet manner, “tomorrow will be the best time for us to find a compatible partner for you~” It does look like it, but father hit himself hard in the face. We can't help but break into laughter afterwards. Father, he is trying hard for us but I hope that I can take away the trauma in his heart. I caused this trauma not only to him but to little sister and the others too. If there is any way for me to correct my mistakes in the past, this is the best time to do it. I know I'll be hated, but I'll try my best. My siblings already accepted me and even father too. I'll make sure I'll find his happiness… his… ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ “I've decided on the name of our group as siblings together with father.” “What is it, big sister?” Dizane tilts her head like a puppy. “W-well I hope it’s great.” Zorg tries to smile for us. “Don't smile,” Axent immediately closes his eyes after taking a look at the weapon, “I might not be able to rest if you did.” “Oh shut up!” he mopes. “We will be called… The Heart Five and father is our fifth member!” “Whoa~” Dizane’s eyes sparkle. “H5!!!” “It is inevitable that the name H5 will be chosen specially with the four of us,” Axent nods. “Is it better with HV?” Zorg suggests. “You don't have to make it look like a venereal disease of the mortals, dork.” Dizane glares at him. “I-I was just m-making a suggestion…” Zorg continues to mope. Although, I know that he is happy about being a part of our family. “Looks promising,” father nods happily. “At least you are having fun~” “RIIIIIIIGHT~”
