1: The Rebirth of a New Beginning

2141 Words
“I am Azalan Ixiden, essential being of trauma.” The newly hatched child notices the unsteady feeling of the crowd of essence beings in front of her, “Did I do something wrong?” “Do not worry about them,” Gazbleir Celxion walks in glaring at the essence beings. “You lot should know that once an essential being is reborn their past memories and past personalities die with them, right? Or am I here to conclude that you people that were apparently placed under my care are unaware or otherwise, living under a rock?” “We are so sorry, captain!” the essence beings lower their heads in shame, “Ah you must be an essential being,” Azalan cautiously approaches Gazbleir. “May I know your name?” “I am Gazbleir Celxion Rare, essential being of courage, and the essence beings around you are the Black Rare Squad.” “But some of them are essence beings of trauma to whom I’m in charge of,” she becomes curious. “What is going on?” “I really don’t know how to handle children, but to be blunt with you…” Gazbleir sighs, “The previous you was corrupted by an essence being to rebel against us and led the first great war of this universe. In other words, the reason for them being afraid of you is because you were once very bad.” “But Azalan is not a bad person,” she weeps. “Why did Azalan do evil things?” “I don’t know,” Gazbleir shakes his head. He notices how innocent she is to be easily corrupted. He thinks deep enough to realize that if he can teach her the path of righteousness, then she won’t end up causing another great war. He sits down in front of her and strokes her hair, “Whatever you did was in the past, I will make sure that you won’t end up being a bad person in the future. Dry your tears now, okay? You are now part of the Black Rare Squad.” “O-okay, I will big brother.” She wipes her tears off and proceeds to grab a part of his scarf, “Azalan sees two essences from big brother, why is that?” “I evolved during the war,” because of you apparently, “and now I ended up gaining the essence of fear as well.” “Captain,” an essence being notifies him, “another core is hatching.” “Azalan,” Gazbleir stands up, “would you like to welcome your next sibling as a big sister?” “Yes,” she becomes extremely excited, “Azalan wants to!” “So,” Gazbleir asks the essence being, “who is it?” ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ Gazbleir is reminded of what Maozter told him earlier, “I want you to be strong. She won’t remember you and your past with her. She’ll be different…” “Hello world, hello everyone,” the newly hatched essential being of fear, Dizane Lamx, happily greets everybody in the room. “Hello trauma and hello... courage and… fear. Why do you have the same core as I am?” “Hi little sister, my name is Azalan Ixiden Rare. From this day onwards, I am your big sister~” she happily greets Dizane. “That person over there is our leader and he is our big brother, Gazbleir Celxion Rare. He is the captain of the Black Rare Squad where you and I belong to, isn’t that great?” “Why does Gazbleir Celxion have the two cores?” Gazbleir answers, “Because you gave your powers to me in the past, would you like to have your powers back?” “You can have them,” she smiles at him. “There must be a special reason why I gave them to you… and besides, it looks like I still have my power with me.” “I see,” Gazbleir smiles and sighs. “This does make it easier for me to accept the things that I can’t let go. Welcome to the new world, Dizane Lamx Rare~” “Yes, Gazbleir Celxion,” she gets up and holds the hand Azalan. “Also Azalan, big sister…” Azalan glances over Gazbleir with delight and enthusiasm, and then she stares into the eyes of Dizane, “I swear with all my heart that I will always be your big sister and I will never let any harm fall on you!” “T-thank you, big sister,” she looks creeped out a bit, but still she takes it too well just like an adult would. Afterwards, she looks at Gazbleir, “You have to tell me everything, okay?” “S-should you know?” he asks her anxiously. “Even so, the ‘you’ right now isn’t the same as her.” “I’ll be able to find out about it eventually,” she smiles. “For now, I have to make myself believe that the previous me was my mother… and that you are my father. I hope that would help you with what you are feeling right now… even just a little.” “Telling me something so mature in front of my subordinates is unfair, you know?” tears start falling from his eyes. “If there is something you have in common… with your… mother, it’s that attitude of yours.” Gazbleir wipes off the tears and smiles. “Don’t worry captain,” one of the essence beings yelled, “We are with you through thick and thin!” Not only that… some of them started to become emotional and cried for him. It seemed that they all love and respect their captain. “Alright,” Gazbleir sighs, “that’s enough. We still have to wait for the last two essential beings to hatch.” “Uhm big brother,” Azalan grabs his scarf. “May I call you father as well?” Gazbleir seemingly looks off into the distance, as if a screen is in front of him. “Let’s decide on it when the other two hatch from their cores. It won’t be fair to decide on it now, right?” “I will call you father regardless!” “Fine,” Gazbleir sighs while thinking, “I can’t really bring myself to become these children’s guardians…” “Then it’s official,” she exclaims, “Dizane and I are now sisters! But we have to start looking for a mother, right~?” “W-wait,” Gazbleir stutters, “W-what now?” “If we have to look for a mother for father,” Dizane thinks deeply while subconsciously grabbing into Gazbleir’s scarf, “then that means our mother might be taking care of some hatchlings as well…” “It means that we’ll have additional siblings…” Azalan frowns. “Father, how many more siblings will we be having in the Rare Household?” “T-two more,” Gazbleir starts to feel hate with his babysitting job, “Cowardice and Sloth…” “T-that might be good for me though,” Azalan grins. “I can bully Cowardice…” “Bullying is bad, big sister,” Dizane whines at her. “I won’t let you… unless I join too~” “These kids are not going to be good news for me,” Gazbleir sighs harder this time. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ “Welcome back,” Gazbleir approaches the male hatchling. “I already know your name, but this is for formalities. Please, state your name.” “Good day, I am Zorg Axcor, essential being of cowardice. “There must be a meaning to everything right now, am I r-right?” he feels a tingling sensation in his spine while looking at Gazbleir’s eyes. He also felt the same thing with Azalan and Dizane, probably because they are both Trauma and Fear. “Don’t be afraid,” Gazbleir lightens up to him. “Your essence does not represent your feelings towards us. For now because of some circumstances, I want you to be acquainted with these two. Girls~” Azalan introduces herself, “I am-” “I-I know who you two a-are,” Zorg, of course, already know their names. He then looks up at Gazbleir, who does not mind at all, but still cowers in fear, “but for formalities… sake. Please…” “I already hate you,” Azalan puffs her cheeks. “I am Azalan Ixiden Rare, goddess of trauma.” “You look funny and a bit weak,” Dizane, teases him. “However, we are your big sisters and we are here to keep you from threats.” “Aside from us,” Azalan grins. “Yes~” Dizane seconds the motion, “I am Dizane Lamx Rare, goddess of fear. Father will explain things to us later so… grab onto this part of his scarf and tag along, little brother~” “W-where are we going?” he fearfully asks. “We have to meet the last one, Sloth,” Gazbleir replies while brushing off the hair of the little coward. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ “He’s got a pillow,” Azalan looks at the new hatchling. “Is that really Sloth?” “He does look like him but,” Dizane curiously inspects Sloth, “he should be like Sleep, right?” “He looks so peaceful,” Zorg feels endangered, “but it seems like he doesn’t want to be disturbed…” Speaking through their thoughts while levitating, “I am Axent Zealot, essential being of sloth. Sorry, I do not feel like speaking with you and I also don’t feel like walking. I also do not feel like opening my eyes and looking at you… it’d be best if I stay like this, just like old times.” “Yeah,” Gazbleir sighs. “That part of you never changed…” “At least I was able to rest for millennia,” Axent suddenly feels odd. “Something tells me that you have to tell us something. I feel like I should listen even if I’m super lazy to do it.” “Did he speak in a riddle like manner?” Zorg’s eyes feel like spinning. “You really are hopeless,” Azalan sighs. “But, looking at his floating people kind of influences me to just feel like not doing anything…” “Azalan Ixiden the Trauma, Dizane Lamx the Fear, and Zorg Axcor the Cowardice,” Axent peeks at them with his deep green eyes. “I feel like we are going to be an unbalanced team…” “The way you say feel,” Dizane cringes, “it makes me feel like feeling it too.” “Is the feeler guy hurting you, little sister?” Azalan moves in front Dizane. “I can’t let that feeling hurt your feelings!” “H-he does have a lot of ‘feels’ to it,” Zorg chuckles but abruptly freezes as he stares at Gazbleir’s annoyed face. “So this is how you deal with children and their insensible nonsense…” Gazbleir deeply sighs while in deep thoughts.
