CHAPTER 1 5:30 am and precious is in bed sleeping, arms hanging off the bed, face down, suddenly her door was slammed open, precious jumped out of bed In fear, and behold.....it was her mum. " precious!..." her mother Mrs zang shouted. " I know, I'm awake coming tsk " precious sucked her teeth ". "oya hurry up so you'll make breakfast for you guys" her mother instructed. " ok ma" she answered as she stood up reluctantly and dragged her feet to the bathroom to pee, when she finished she went to the kitchen where she prepared noodles and eggs. when she was done she served it to her brother. " I have a morning shift so I'll be leaving now, make sure your brother and you are not late for school " her mother instructed. "yes mummy ". "ehm precious?". "ma?" " good morning oh" precious immediately knew she had messed up. " I said let me greet you since you cannot greet again ". "mummy I'm sorry, I thought I greeted, sorry ". She finally decided to look up and when she did, she saw David! I was shaking but I still managed to keep my calm, my heart beat got faster with each breath, it was like I had forgotten how to breathe. 'why does he want to sit with me?am I looking pretty today?. I began to ask myself questions, alot of them . " what are you reading?" as he asked that I came back to the present, I zone out a lot BTW. "it's novel....I.....I mean it's a novel called......................" Dammit I forgot the name, ok if I had a gun right now, I would put it in my mouth and pull the trigger. I'm way too tense to have a conversation, I mean, my crush was this close to me and was talking to me , I could faint right now. " don't worry". he turned the back of the book and saw the name, I guess he's used to girls being nervous around him. "Oh goosebumps". I was still eating my rice and beans when I heard a knock on the gate and I told Kelvin to get it. he did as I said and came back in with my best friend joy. "precious guess who?". " ok Kelvin thank you". I smiled, he went back to watching teen titans go and I led joy into the bedroom. She jumped up in excitement. " what is it?" I asked in curiosity. "I just remembered chima's birthday is on. Saturday and he's having a house party". " are you going?". I asked her. " i have to go oh, he invited me personally" she answered proudly "he didn't invite me so I'm not going". " he said I should bring you along". in case you are wondering, let me clear you. Chima is a guy in my area, that is a fine boy, a lady's man and girls were crazy about him, he was like 2 years older than us and he's also a crush of mine, I've crushed on him since forever and I didn't think he noticed me at all, infact I still don't think he knows who I am, so right now it's kind of a shock that he knows me and has noticed me but it's probably because I'm friends with joy.
