Kate POV
I would have liked to have spoken to Colby before meeting with Reid’s and my fathers; however, I hadn’t heard from him, and I refused to call him again. I could only hope he had seen through Josey’s tricks, and he was fixing things before he called me.
As I entered the conference room, I saw Alpha Reid sitting there with his father beside him, former Beta Ralph Thompson. As I sat down, we waited for my father to make his grand entrance. Not surprising me that he was late as he was reluctant to even have this conversation. At least Beta Ralph was prepared to meet us somewhere in the middle.
Finally hearing footsteps come closer in the hallway, my father finally graces us with his presence. Former Alpha Jackson, my father enters the room. He and Ralph will also have their titles
