Drake POV “How long were you going to let me look like a fool?” Maddie asks me. I look at this woman in front of me. I can see her anger and hurt, but I have no idea how to help her. “Maddie, you don’t look like a fool,” I start to say as she huffs. She’s standing off by the wall now and I cannot reach her. I stand to move toward her, but she starts to move clearly indicating there is a line in the sand where she doesn’t want me to cross. “I’m the fool.
