Drake POV
“Maddie, what the hell was that?” I asked pulling her back away from Kate as she tries to swing her foot to kick her in the stomach. Kate was quickly back up on her feet and stepped back avoiding Maddie’s leg. Wiping blood from her lip, Kate looks at Maddie coldly, “Make no mistake Maddie, you get one free one – after that I fight back,” Kate says. Maddie smirks at Kate as she continues dabbing at the blood on her lip.
“Now did you both come here to talk or to fight?” she asks us. As she’s standing there her Alpha comes running over to see if everything was alright. “I’m fine Reid but perhaps you can join us for our meeting?” she suggests. I don’t think she had planned for Reid to participate but seeing Maddie’s hostility changed her mind.
