Moving back toward the Pack hospital, I consider what to share with Colby. He will be furious that I left without him. He’ll be more furious to know I had brought the rogues with me from the Golden Moon Pack. I was furious that they had the nerve to bring this fight here. And Amelie was hurt in the crossfire.
As I got to the hospital, I once again smelled Josey. It was faint, but I knew she had been here. I entered Amelie’s room to see she was still resting.
