-Birthday Gift-

Happy Birthday to me, I think as I am now being cradled in the arms of this man who sends tingles and happiness up my spine just from a look.

“Second chance mate.” Opal tells me.

Well that's a gift indeed. “I hope he’s better than the last.” I say back.

“ Well does he feel better than the last?” She says purring by the feel of his heart hammering against us as he carries us off to the pack hospital.

“Is this why you said to go this way?” I ask her. “Yes and no, I could feel him but I new this way would be the safest for us.” She says going back to the soft purr she was doing.

Looking up I can see his features much better now. He has a strong jaw line and dark hair that falls just shy of his brows; and his eyes are as blue as the ocean deepths. Its just my luck to find a new mate right after a rejection. Something in me warms just from his presance. Oh moon goddess please don’t trick me with this one, I pray out to her. Pulled from my thoughts by a sharp pain in my side I let out a wince.

“Hey its gonna be okay we are almost there.” he says as he lossens his grip making it a little less warm but still more comfortable.

Glancing up I can see a fairly large building that just came into view with a sign that says hospital. How big is this pack to have a actual hospital on it. Seeming to pick up pace we make it to the entrence wicked fast.

“Alea she needs to be treated right now” he comands to a doctor who had been waiting at the Entrance. He places me on a gurney and starts touching me and examing my wound.

“Alpha please let me take a look at her.” Says the pettit doctor, from behind him.

“Oh um yes, I just needed to see for myself.” He says giving her a nod as he moves back to let her work.

“ Hi there Im Alea I just need to check you out real quick if you don’t mind. ” She says with a soft smile.

I nod and she begins feeling my torso, causing me to hiss out a short breath.

“Okay hun we need to get you to the back I need a better look at that wound, I'm not certain it went clean threw so we should get a look at it asap.” She says motioning to some nurses who start to move me down the hall. The blood loss has me a little groggy and as we move the warmth I had just seemed to get starts to fade.

“Wait!” I say looking toward my dark haired mate I continue “ Will you come with me?” I say feeling the pleading face I know I’m making. He b****y smiles at me and trots over grabbing my hand.

“Anything you need love.” He says smiling down at me.

Well thats great I mean its comforting but its still very diffrent to feel this need for his comfort. We continue to what seems like a very exclusive room, it has a real bed in it not just one of those hospital ones and as soon as we are in they roll out some fancy machine they use to scan me. Alea proceeded to tell me the bullet is still in me and they will be numbing me to extract it luckly the location shouldn't cause any damage to anything vital. All threw the process my mate held my hand and lightly brushes my hair back. It’s foreign but I like it, when everything is said and done they bring in some clothes and the nurses help me dress while my mate talks to the doctor. After dressing they promptly place me on the most amazing bed I’ve ever been on and quitly exit the room leaving me with my new found mate. Settling down I watch him paced an what seems to be mind linking before he turns to me smiling.

“ I’m glad you’re going to be okay.” He says sitting down on the edge of the bed reaching out to my hand.

“ So whats going to happen to me I mean I know I crossed your boarder and there are rules to follow.” I say looking into those deep pools of blue.

“ Well I don’t think I will be putting you in the dungeon seeing as you where running from someone and well you are my mate.” He says giving me a little smirk but its just the right leave of confident and playfull.

“ Yeah about that I really wasnt expecting to get that little birthday gift.” I laugh finding it so ironic lose one find another all at once kind of day I guess.

“Its you’re birthday? well thats some party you had going.” He says giving me a quirky look.

“Yeah well I guess thats what happens when you escape from days of t*****e even on your birthday they just can’t seem to let go'.” I say rolling my eyes at the stiuation I'd been in.

“t*****e!!” He growls eyes going solid black as he moves back.

His wolf has edged out, this must be the instict wolves get for there mate. “Um its okay uh just breath in um what is your name its kind of hard to calm you when I don’t know.” I say slowly sitting up and reaching for him; this seems to help because his eyes quickly flash back to those blue deepths.

“Sorry I guess we havent got there yet had we; my name is Gabriel Blackwood, an you love?” He says raising his brow slightly.

“ Sienna, Sienna Blake.” I say threw a soft smile.

Kissing my hand he says. “Sienna is a lovely name.”

Soft tingles trace up my hands. while the feel of warmth spreads across my face. When he said my name it was absolutely all-consuming strait down to my core. Moon goddess don’t trick me let this be my true birthday gift. I shoot up to her as I watch him. Knowing full well he

hasn’t takin his eyes off me.
