Misery froze and slowly turned her eyes on the platinum blonde vampire who had strolled into her chamber. She recognized the words and her eyes lit up at the same time the symbols on the floor started to glow with power.
Suddenly the chamber was engulfed in a bright flash of light that extended out and into the catacombs. Time slowed to a stop and all sound ceased.
