Sarah’s POV The next morning, I decided that Dawn probably needed a little time to breathe before I talked to her. Yesterday had been overwhelming for everyone, and I could still feel the tension lingering around the packhouse. I walked through the halls quietly, greeting the pack members who smiled and bowed their heads politely as I passed. When I reached Dawn’s room, I stopped and took a breath before knocking. “Dawn?” I called softly. No answer.
