CHAPTER 13

BREAKFAST AND THE SPANISH INQUISTION

Leah and they Clay boys came bounding out of the woods laughing and Joking like old friends they reached the door of Leah’s cottage opened it still Joking around only stopped by the smell of bacon, Eggs, hash browns, Pancakes, Breakfast sausages and freshly squeezed orange Juice. The boys looked at each other in surprise Leah Smirked “My mum is the Witch of all Witches she wrote the book on bad ass Ninja skills why are you so surprised”. Aliyah looked at the trio smiled a knowing smile then dished up their food.

As the trio finished their food with great appreciation given to Aliyah both Mother and daughter smiled and began to count backwards from 5. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 at that point Luna Alexis came crashing through the door Aliyah and Leah giggled at the sight of her, the boys looked at the Mother and Daughter duo and under their breaths in unison said, “So bad ass” Leah still giggling said, “thank you we Ninja’s aim to please”. Luna Alexis gave a big sigh at the sight of her boys but then glared at them and began to scold them “Really boys you stay out all night cut your mind link off then I wake up check your beds and you haven’t even slept in them are you trying to give me a heart attack”.

Luna’s shoulders where heaving up and down because she yelled all that without breathing. Both boys put their hands up in surrender looked at their mother apologizing profusely. They got up off their seats, grabbed their mother and gave her a big hug looking at Aliyah and Leah grinning at them. They let go and Luna calmed down “Right boys march your butts home we need to have a talk with your father” as they walked towards the door Leah let a giggle out the boys turned back she waved at them flirtatiously and cheekily at the same time.

At that Luna looked at Leah she quickly dropped her hands putting on her best innocent act. Luna spoke “Little Miss Ninja Caster why are you still sitting there this includes you too”. Aliyah and the boys laughed as Leah screwed up her face and walked out the door with the boys. Both boys poking fun at her Leah giving as good as she got. Leah and the boys were so busy joking and mocking each other Leah lost her footing as she was walking backwards both boys reached forward to stop her from falling before they could reach her, Leah whipped her legs back over her head throwing herself in the air executing a perfect back flip as she landed Both boys looked in shock and repeated “Sexy bad ass” Luna heard their comments smiled and raised an eyebrow making them quicken their steps. Leah looked at them and winked before she turned around.

Luna directed the trio straight into Alpha Zane’s office, both he and Max were standing their eyebrows raised as the trio entered still laughing. The three of them quickly adjusted themselves and bowed their heads in respect to both the Alpha and Beta still with stupid smiles on their faces. Leah was placed firmly in the middle of the boys. Alpha Zane still looking at the Trio broke the silence and said, “right who is going to explain” both boys looked at each other they then together put their hands-on Leah’s back and pushed her forward.

 Leah turned to the boys and mouthed “Traitors” then put on her most innocent smile as she looked at her father and Alpha. Alpha motioned for Leah to speak “Alpha, Dad I am an open book what is it you would like explained”. Both Max and Alpha Zane had to do everything in their power to stop themselves from smiling at her Leah just had that effect on everybody. Alpha spoke “Please explain my dear Leah what was it that you and my 2 sons were doing all night alone till sunrise” Leah being innocent never caught on to the assumption that was being made. “Oh that’s easy” she said then she rattled off quickly the events of the night.
