CHAPTER 11

MAKING A CONNECTION

The Clay boys followed Leah she led them over to the pergola and told them to sit she ran into the Cabin made herbal tea and served them. Leah sat down put her arm on the table and placed her head on her fist she looked at the boys and asked, “what do ya want to know?” Surprised at her directness they both said in unison “well ok then” Stephano looked at Leah and said “what do you know about us” Leah responded and spoke in a very matter of fact way “Let’s start with you Stephano Alpha and Luna adopted you when you were 5, your parent’s were the strongest warrior wolves in the pack second only to my dad and the Alpha they lost their physical bodies in the pack wars” Stephano stopped Leah and said “hang on hang on” with a sad look “its ok to say they died I still get sad but I can take it” Leah smiled much to Stephano’s and Nox’s surprise.

Leah continued “I wasn’t feeling pity for you Stephano I meant what I said your parents lost their physical bodies, but they didn’t die”. Stephano looked at her mouth opened “What on earth do you mean Leah” She smiled even wider and said “Wait here” she took off over to the waterfall only 50 meters away from where they were sitting she seemed to be having a conversation with herself then she laughed and ran back to the boys. The boys looked at each other and mind linked deciding she was crazy.

Leah grabbed both boys by the hand and dragged them over to the pool at the edge of the waterfall she let them go and told both boys to stand still. Leah raised her arms and began to cast both boys were mesmerized they mind linked so they could hear one another’s thoughts they smiled as they listened in to one another neither of them holding back on their comments Stephano was saying things like this weird chick is sexy as all hell, Nox agreed then added a dam she’s hot Stephano adding have you ever seen anything as exquisitely beautiful as her Nox replied not even in my dreams.

Leah stopped casting and right before the boys’ eyes Stephano’s parents materialized. Stephano broke the mind link looking at Leah saying “HOW?” with unshed tears filling his eyes Leah hit him on the shoulder “introduce us all i***t” Stephano still not believing his eyes did as he was told “Mum, Dad this is Leah and Lennox you know” Leah waved smiled and said “Hello” Nox did the same. Stephano’s parents responded nice to meet you too”. Stephano looked at his parents and asked how is this possible his father responded “We never left you son we might not be able to interact with you but when we sense you need us we come and watch over you” Stephano asked “then why can I see you now” Stephano’s mum answered because that young lady over there asked the spirit guardian if we could come forward he agreed he really likes this young lady”. Stephano’s parents sighed “this time son we can’t stay long but we will be there when we are needed” with that they said goodbye and disappeared.

Stephano turned back to Leah walked over to her picked her up off the ground and gave her the biggest hug Leah smiled but then said, “whoa there buddy time to put me down” Stephano put her on the ground and chuckled. Nox looked at Leah she smiled at them both and said, “I know I am pretty awesome cos I am a Ninja Caster”. The boys laughed with her then a comfortable silence overtook them as they dangled their feet in the pool of water.
