THE WOLF CASTER

CHAPTER 5

TIMES ALMOST UP.

Leah had spent 7 days at the white waterfall in her families cabin which was gifted to them by the Alpha and Luna out of respect for Aliyah and Leah being witches knowing that they needed isolation to practice and strengthen their casting ability.

Aliyah was a grand supreme this meant she outranked all witches and warlocks her power was second to none she controlled all elements including blood casting. She came from a long line of Supremes she was royalty and each generation in her lineage were stronger than the previous.

Leah had inherited all her mother’s gifts and few her mother didn’t have the coven put that down to the fact that Leah was also Wolf which enhanced her powers with the ability to create protect and destroy. Leah was lethal and she and her parents knew it.

Leah and Aliyah during the 7 days at the waterfall casted together sharing technique one with another Max sat and watched his mate and daughter side by side casting and it was the most stunning sight imaginable they moved in unison shoulder to shoulder with the wind catching their beautiful long hair as their movements were like that of a beautiful choregraphed dance. Max was one of the few who got to witness this amazing sight and every time he saw them cast together it seemed to become even more beautiful.

Mother and Daughter were practising for Leah’s first major solo cast which happened to coincide with her 18th birthday and first shift. Leah would finally get to see herself in wolf form. Leah’s parents had organised with the Alpha and Luna to hold a private ceremony for Leah’s cast and shift so that the coven could attend but mostly because it would be the first of its kind. Normal wolf protocol would have Leah shift in front and with her pack however Leah was anything but normal and this arrangement seemed to satisfy both pack and coven laws.

The full moon Leah’s birthday shift and solo cast was in 2 days her time in complete isolation was almost up and she was not looking forward to it she loved the solitude of the witch life she craved it like she craved cupcakes, one of her first lessons in casting and pack training was centered on maintaining balance and for Leah that meant denying her preference in order to keep balanced.

Max and Aliyah along with the Alpha and Luna came to the white waterfall to discuss the arrangements with Leah as they approached she was in the middle of casting all four stood there mesmerized as she gracefully reached and turned in perfect fluid motions. Leah looked up with a huge smile as she saw them standing there watching her she stopped and yelled “Hey old people what ya looking at” Max frowned Luna and Alpha chuckled under their breathes and Aliyah commented to the group in soft voice so Leah couldn’t hear “unfortunately she looks like an angel but then she opens her mouth and the illusion is over” at this Max, Luna and Alpha burst into full blown laughter while Aliyah stood shaking her head from side to side.
