Just as we expected, the witch council helpfully provided a ‘guide’ for us when we expressed our desire to go sightseeing. Knowing that trying to change their decision was futile, we readily accepted their so-called guide, much to their liking. And like the good girls we were, Nadia, Tia and I dutifully followed our guide, a scrawny looking teenage boy who appeared to have next to nil magic for himself. I guess they just wanted someone to spy on us and didn’t want to waste their talented witches' time on us pests when we were in their territory and couldn’t do much trouble under the watchful eyes of their ‘guide’.
