24. Family Reunion

Rosalyn's mom stayed on the floor horrified. Rosalyn slowly walk towards the kitchen taking the view of the beautiful house, which they bought from selling her. She went to the beautiful open kitchen and took two knifes. When she return to the place where she left her mom she found it empty.
Rosalyn: Are we playing hide and seek mommy?
Upstairs in the master bedroom Rosalyn's mom was inside her closet putting all money in a big bag that's when she heard Rosalyn's footsteps behind her.
Rosalyn: That's alot money!
Rosalyn bent down behind her mother and said close to her ear..
Rosalyn: Is that the price of you motherhood?
Her mom screamed and fall front.
Rosalyn: Oh careful mom you might not want your nose got broke at this age.
Rosalyn said and pull her mom up by holding her bicep.
Rosalyn: Carry on with what you were doing mommy, you know I always love the shine in your eyes when ever I gave you money. But I've never thought the shine will blind you so much that you will sold your own daughter to some rapists.
Rosalyn said and putting the knife under her mother's chin. Her mother tremble in fear.
Rosalyn: Quickly put all the money in the bag.
Her mother quickly followed the order. The bag was big and heavy from the waight of money. Rosalyn took the bag and gesture for her mom to walk ahead. Her mom took the opportunity and run. She tried to lock Rosalyn inside the walk in closet. Just as she closed the door of the closest Rosalyn kick the door from inside. The impact made her mother fall on the floor and the door bang open, from the sound of it her father who was sleeping in the king size bed wake up.
Dad: Ro..... Rosa?
Rosalyn: Hey daddy.
She said with a smile, a sweet smile which made both of her parents panick.
Mom: Rosa baby we can explain....we ...
Rosalyn: I know mom, you can. You always have the explanation of everything. And I'll listen but first call my dear little brother and tell him to come home.
Her mother stood up and took her phone from the bedside table with trembling hands.
Rosalyn: And don't tell him I'm here, I wanna surprise my little brother.
Ring ring.
Ring ring.
Ring ring.
Ring ring.
The call got connected.
Mom: Edward honey you have to come home...
Edward (The Brother): Why mom, I'll be back in the morning.....
Mom: No honey you have to come home now your father is not feeling well...
Edward: That old pig, let him die mom...
The phone was in loud speaker and both Rosalyn and her father heard him.
Mom: Please honey I need you here....
Edward: Damn it mom you are such a party pooper.
The call got disconnected.
Rosalyn: Well that was interesting. *she shrugged*
3:50am
Edward (Rosalyn's brother) return home. He ring the doorbell and it opened. As drunk he was he didn't recognise the woman in front of him, he just saw with his blurry vision a hourglass figured woman's silhouette. And just like the pervert he was he said...
Edward: Hey baby wanna have some fun?
The next thing he know somebody took fistful of his hair and pull him inside the house, as drunk he was he fall face on the floor. He heard a man and a woman's voice shouting, calling his name and everything went black.
Rosalyn went to the kitchen, took a jug full of water and return to the place where her brother was laying face down. She kicked his side and he turned. She poured the water on his face. He gain his consciousness. And in panick he stood up quickly only to fall on his butt. Rosalyn look at her brother's stupid expression..
Edward: Ro...Roo.....Saa?
Rosalyn: Yes you drug head.
She again took fistful of his hair and pull him up and drag him to the chair near her mom who was tied up. Rosalyn pushed him on the chair and tied him. She took a chair and sat down in front of them.
Rosalyn: Nice car Ed.
Edward: Just brought......
Rosalyn: It's not hard to guess.
She sighed heavily and look at her family who was tied in chairs. Mother crying, father's head down and a brother who is drunk. She look at the master mind, her mother.
Rosalyn: Care to explain why did you sold me to some rapists?
Mom: Ro...Rosa *sobbing* baby listen, it's a misunderstanding.
Rosalyn: Yeah mom, me getting kidnapped and almost getting r***d is a misunderstanding, my whole family gone with their things with in a night is a misunderstanding, you all living in a luxurious beach house is a misunderstanding, Edward partying in the richest club of the town is a misunderstanding. Right mom?
Mom: Baby we needed money, your father needed the surgery for his legs please understand.
Rosalyn: So that's the reason you sold me?
Mom: A woman always need to make tough decisions for her family....
Rosalyn: So you choose to sold me to give them a better life you say?
Mom: Yes honey..*Sobbing*
Rosalyn look at her father's face, guilt and fear was visible in his old eyes. She look at her brother who was looking like an i***t, still too drunk to understand the gravity of the situation.
Then she look at her mom, the woman who gave birth to her, sobbing in front of her, looking pitiful.
Rosalyn: What if I kill your husband and son in front of you?
She said with gritted teeth, Eyes red in anger.
Mom: No...Rosa...they are your family.... Roo..... saaa
Rosa stood up took the knife from the table walk towards her brother, hold his face by his hair put the knife in his cheek and look at her mother while cutting his skin, blood coming out of the cut socking his shirt, he was screaming and her mom and dad was begging for her to stop.
Mom: Noo Rosa noo.....My babyyy!!! don't hurt him...
Dad: Nooo..... Ed noooooo....
She stops and went towards her mother holding the bloody knife in her hand. Standing front of her she put the knife under her chin and made her mom look at her.
Rosalyn: Now you have to make a tough decision, if you want to live I'll kill theses two and if you want them to live you have to die, choose now.
Her mother tremble in fear, eyes red from crying, throat dry from begging.
Mom: Kill your father and let us live. Your father is cripple already, kill him.
Dad: You b***h! you selfish slut!
Her father cursed her mother. She went towards him put the knife on his throat.
Rosalyn: But didn't I said your life or theirs mom?
Dad : Yes you said that yes, kill her and let us go, kill that manipulative b***h!
Mom: No Rosa my baby, please kill him and free him from his misery....Your ..... your brother deserve a happy life, I brought you two up I deserve a happy life so kill him. Take his life not mine. He is good for nothing.
Edward: Kill that old pig
Dad: No Rosa I'm you father, remember I love you.
Rosalyn: I said mom your life or theirs?*Rosalyn shout*.
Edward: Kill her than...
Mom: What Ed?! What are you saying!?
Her mother said crying in disbelief, Rosa went behind her and hold the knife on her mother's throat.
Edward: Mom it's one life or two, I don't want to die, and it was your plan to sell her, it's your fault we are in this situation.....
Mom: You selfish piece of s**t! How could you blame me!? I did it for your future!!
Dad: No b***h you did it for money.
Mom: Shut up you worthless cripple!
Edward: Kill her Rosa.
'And they were my family?' she thought. She remove the knife from her mother's neck and went to the bathroom. She took a towel and first aid kit. She walk towards her brother and Edward stop breathing in fear. She bent down in front of him and started cleaning his wound on his cheek.
Dad: Ro...Rosa?
They were surprise to see that, one minute ago she wanted to kill them and now is treating Edward's wounds.
Rosalyn: You really thought I could kill you?
They didn't answer. Too Confuse to understand anything.
Rosalyn: I was angry so I scared you all. But killing? never.* Paused*.... I brought a house for you all, it's in a village. Close to nature. Dad can recover there after the surgery. Edward can find a job or start firming. I always wanted to us to live in a beautiful village. We have enough money now to buy another house.
She said and look at her mom.
Mom: So you forgave us?
Rosalyn: Yes, I have enough of stress. Now I only want to live in peace with everyone. If I can forget the past can't you do this for me?
Dad: Yes Rosa my sweet daughter.
She smiled and untied them.
Rosalyn: Now go and pack you bags we will leave now.
Mom: Now?
Rosalyn: Yes mom, it's some hours drive and the appointment is in 6:00am it's already 4:30am.
4:50am
Rosalyn started her brother's car, every one was sitting.
Mom: Is it important to take the money with us?
She just can't believe what Rosa said before.
'How could she forgive us so easily? I saw her anger she wanted us dead' Rosalyn's mom thought.
Rosalyn: Leaving the money in an empty house isn't a good idea mom.
Edward: She is right mom. But sis don't you think staying in a village and working is too much, town always have better options?
Rosalyn: Ed, as I said before village environment is good for dad's recovery and for you too because if you stay in town you will not stop talking drugs and alcohol, And no one wants a addicted employee in office. So village is better for you too to get over your addiction and live a simple life, if you stay in town you'll spend millions before you know it. Live a down to earth lifestyle and in villages if you have money you are already a big person there. So you'll got two things your health and respect.
The way Rosalyn said, it removed all their doubts from their heads, living a healthy and wealthy life in village is better than living in the town.
Rosalyn's mom thought 'I always knew she is a smart girl but her still thinking about the family is so fool of herself, she could've just left with the money after killing us but here my sily daughter still taking responsibility for everyone, you still need to grow up my Rosa'.
6:20am
They reach in front of the house, Rosalyn called Derek before reaching here so Derek Bowl was waiting in front of the house.
Derek: Good morning everyone.
Rosalyn: Good morning, I'm Rosalyn. This is my mom Annalise Heart, My father Jimmy Heart and my brother Edward Heart.
After visiting the house every one loved it. Rosalyn insist her mother's name as the owner of the house and her greedy mother accept it without a second thought. After completing the paperwork it was 10:00 am Derek Bowl left. Rosalyn's mom went to the kitchen to make tea, her brother was sleeping in his room and her father was sitting outside in his wheelchair enjoying the village air.
Rosalyn went to her room, take out the box of patties and started taking out the packets of drugs from inside of the patties. There was nine packets. she went out and put three in her brother's bedroom under the bed and six in her parent's bedroom inside the drawer of the bed side table. She went to her room put the box of patties in her bag and throw the bag of money and bag of her clothes outside her bedroom window. She went to the kitchen and told her mother...
Rosalyn: Mom, Mr. Bowl just called, he said he forgot to give the basement's keys, so I'm going to take it.
Mom: Now dear? I just made the tea.
Rosalyn: Yes mom he will leave for work so I have to go now. I'll bring dad inside first.
She got out and bring her dad inside. Then went out of the door. She carefully went towards her window without making any noise, took the bags, went inside the car and left.
