Conleth took a deep breath and let it out slowly. “Okay, let’s do this.”
I turned to him. “What?”
He frowned. “You heard Doctor Starrick. You need to learn control immediately.”
“Yes, but how are you going to teach me? You just said you’re not a Kinetic.”
He swallowed. “I’m not, but we don’t have anyone available that has that ability. We will have to make do.”
I crossed my arms. “What about at Jannali?” He went a little pale. “Maybe they could send someone over here if I’m not allowed to go there.”
“No. They don’t have anyone available at the moment. They’re busy. They’re the main base on this planet. They’ve been here longer than us. I will teach you.”
