Chapter Eighteen
Tamisan stood and her movements were unsure, but Zhenna only hesitated for a second. “Hello.”
Silence fell as they stared at each other and everyone waited to see what they would do.
Tamisan was taking shallow breaths, but managed a “hello.” Then she said, “This is going to sound kinda strange, but it’s good to see you!”
Zhenna’s smile widened. “It’s really good to see you, too. Are you really me? I know they told me what happened, but I still can’t believe it!”
Tamisan’s eyes welled up. “Yes. I’m you, but I’m me. I’m kind of different now. It’s hard to explain.”
