Disco Fever

The night was finally here. Ruby and Sarah came by to help me get ready. I was excited and nervous. Supposedly over 150 people were going to show up. I figured there must be a lot of cousins in this family. I was glad the dress code was just glam and elegant versus a full-on disco. I mean we tried to stick with subtle pops of disco. I didn't want anyone there with crazy hair and high platform boots. My dress was gold with a halter top and a pleated skirt. It had an open back and was about ankle length. Ruby had a short silver sparkly long bell sleeve dress and Sarah wore a sequins jumpsuit with cross front straps. When we walked into the adjoining living rooms they were both decorated with balloons and lights. The floors were beautifully lit squares. It was all so colorful and fantastic. I was speechless. When everyone noticed I had made my way inside they all turned around and started cheering/clapping. I felt genuine love and warmth in the room. Everyone was already having fun. Lucas came over and brought me something to drink. He was dressed rather funky. He was wearing white pants and a very sparkly shirt. He looked funny but still very handsome. Everyone was dressed so cool. I was the happiest I have ever been. Talk about living life to the fullest. Soon everyone started dancing. I was having such a good time I didn't think it could get better. I was dancing when suddenly Ruby and Sarah's faces lit up and they ran towards the front door. I'm guessing the boyfriends they spoke of so much were finally here. Like a sudden thunderbolt lighting up the sky. I felt my body jolt up. The was a fire in my soul burning out of control. I saw Aidan make his way through the crowd. His mother stopped him and a few words with him. She released him but not before planting a kiss on his cheek. He tried to look annoyed but then his eyes met mine. He walked over to me and I almost went weak in the knees. He was wearing black jeans and a navy blue dress shirt. He didn't look out of place though. He just looked damn good. He approached Lucas and me. He shoved Lucas away and he just laughed while he danced off into the crowd.

"Hey," he said with that husky voice of his.

"Hey stranger," I replied. He smiled and looked me up and down.

"You look gorgeous," He told me. He grabbed me by my hand and led me to a corner away from the crowd.

"I'm going to guess you don't dance," I told him.

He grinned and told me " I might just surprise you." The DJ ended up playing " Don't leave me this way by Thelma Houston," It was a slow but at times upbeat song. Perfect for the two of us at this moment. We were slowly building up the courage to embrace one another. He playfully grabbed my hands and intertwined them with his. We were moving slowly and he wouldn't take his eyes off mine. I wasn't sure if when the beat picked up if he would go with the music. When the song picked up I was very surprised that he went along. He had really good rhythm. He was grinning and taking the lead. He spun me around a few times. We were both laughing and smiling. I would have never imagined he could let loose like this. It didn't matter who was staring at us having a good time. I knew we both felt like it was just us two right now. He was gripping my hip and pulling me closer to him. At some point, he went behind me and we started to grind our hips together. As the song was ending he grabbed the skirt of my dress and gripped it as he drew it up my thigh. He brought his lips down to my neck and kissed me. Once the song was over I hear the crowd roar and then chant " TO OUR NEW LUNA!"  I looked puzzled and then looked at Aidan. He looked pissed. He let out an intense growl and then I began to back away from him. Everyone looked scared but then like usual Lucas broke the ice.

"Wrong party. I knew there was too many people here," he said. "Well let's keep up the celebration."

I, unfortunately, started feeling off. I looked at Lucas then at Aidan and suddenly fainted.

   I don't know how long it took me to come to but I woke up in Aidan's arms. We were outside but we could still here the party. The music was faint but still managed to make it outside. We were in the back of the house. I never really made it to this side of the house. There was a river just a few steps away.

"I really should have ate something," I told Aidan.

"You cant scare me like that darling," he said as he placed a kiss on my forehead. I heard the song "How deep is your love by the Bee Gees" start playing. He lifted me up and brought me into his tight hold. We swayed back and forth in sync with the music. He brushed the hair out of my face.

"Do you like dancing?" I asked him.

"Not really, I didn't dance much with.. " He didn't finish that sentence.

"Well, I am glad your dancing with me," I said.

"You have no idea how wonderful this feels," he told me.

"I bet you have to leave soon," I said.

"I should leave on a red-eye tonight but perhaps I'll leave in the morning," he told me. "The moment I come back I promise to tell you everything you need to know and have yet to tell you."

I smiled and whispered, " You better." He held me tighter. Suddenly "If I cant have you by Yvonne Elliman" came on and I thought it was very fitting. I don't want anyone else but him. Did I develop Stockholm syndrome? I wasn't even around Aidan that long. If anything I should feel something for Lucas.

"IT'S CAKE TIME!" Lucas popped out and shouted. We walked back into the house and everyone sang me happy birthday. Aidan's mom wanted me to give a speech. I was dumbfounded but went with it.

"Thank you to everyone who came today to help me celebrate. I may not know any of you and vice verse but I hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I did. I want to think Mrs. Eastwood and her lovely son for hosting me these last couple of months. I really appreciate everything you have done for me thus far. Thank you, Ruby and Sarah, for the glam assist. Thank you, Lucas, for being you. Again thank you everyone and I hope to see you soon and formally meet one another at some point in time."

Everyone applauded and cheered. I heard some rumblings from the crowd.

"The old Luna was nothing like this," one guest said.

"Wow, she isn't shy at all," another said.

"She is a much better Luna then the last one," a third guest said. With that last statement, Aidan walked towards them and grabbed two of them by the throat.

"HOW DARE YOU!" he shouted. He then threw the man he held by the throat to the ground.

"Hope is not your Luna and she will never b.... " he didn't finish his sentence and immediately looked around for me. I was just shocked at the fight he had just started. I didn't understand what they were arguing about. He looked relieved to still see my puzzled expression "Last dance by Donna Summers" was playing.

"The DJ really knows how to pick them," I said. Lucas laughed and tried to entertain me. Out of nowhere the man on the ground got up and slipped on his untied shoelace causing him to bump into Aidan. Aidan growled and pushed the man off him. He was becoming angry. He looked over to me and shouted once more. "GET UPSTAIRS NOW!"  I wanted to cry but I just fled upstairs without saying a word or letting a tear loose. I ran upstairs and slammed the door. "Why should I be kicked out, that guy is the one causing problems," I thought. I heard something snap and break downstairs. The fight was now outside. I ran to my window but could barely see anything. I walked over to the balcony and as soon as I stepped outside I saw a huge black wolf. Then a smaller light brown one came towards him. The black wolf didn't even flinch he just growled and suddenly the other wolf stopped. He took small steps forward and the small wolf became even smaller. He bowed down and then made a painful whimper.

"HOLY s**t!" I yelled. I covered my mouth as soon as the words escaped my mouth. The black wolf snapped his head around and looked dead at me. His eyes were so dark. I felt like he was going to leap up and eat me. "Don't eat me I didn't see anything." I ran back inside and closed the balcony door. I suddenly heard footsteps approaching my door. I usually didn't hear anything but they were stomping their heart away. " I don't care about what kind of freaky dogs you guys are breeding here," I told him. He looked even angrier now. He took a few steps forward and started to unbutton his shirt.

" I am an alpha of a werewolf pack, everyone here tonight can turn into a wolf, yes Lucas, Ruby and Sarah too, you are my mate and future Luna," He started saying. He completely took off his shirt and then started to take his jeans off. " I want to stay here with you tonight," he finished. He got into the bed and just laid there. I went over to the dresser and started to take off my dress. He scooted up off the bed a little to have a better view of me doing this. I took off my dress completely and was standing in my red lacey see-through bra and panty. He let out a growl and I stiffened up a bit. He wouldn't look away. I grabbed a long enough muscle tee and threw it over me. I went over to the other side of the bed and hopped on. He didn't move for several minutes. He finally went to spoon me and I instantly fell asleep.
