I didn’t understand at all what happened, but when this bastard appeared in front of me so abruptly that I screamed in surprise.

Fred didn't answer and just turned to me.

"Get out of here, quickly!"He shouted.

I silently jumped up and rushed to the exit of the cave, noticing that it had already begun to get light. I ran for a long time with all my might, without looking back, trying to find a way out of this forest as quickly as possible.

POV author.

"We drove away the vampires, they left." Fred went to the leader and everyone else followed him.

"Where is the girl?"He asked. "Did they see her?"

"Yes" Chris answered. “Now she knows about them too.” Nothing good…

“Now they will need to eliminate it, but that is no longer our concern.” Said one of those sitting. "We are not involved in charity. Vampires must pay only for invading our territory, but we are not invading theirs. And their personal affairs with people are not our affairs.

“But are we really going to allow them to find her now and...kill her...this is the best case scenario.” Chris said.

"Yes." The leader said and everyone froze. “It’s been like this since time immemorial.” No matter how sorry I am, the girl may say something sooner or later, especially since she was very scared.It would be nice if she were lucky, but she knows too much now. And this is dangerous. It's better not to take risks.
