Fake love is better than no love

I wake up in the morning feeling better than I ever have. I go turn on my little lamp on my rickety dresser and see that my phone is there along with my bag from Diamond's house.Good thing I left in on the charger while me and her watched a movie last night. I power the phone on and look at the time which is 5:30 a.m. , but what surprises me is the date it is Monday and I have slept for two whole days.

I rush into my bathroom. and turn on the shower. The Alpha is going to k×ll me when he finds out I haven't done any of my chores. I hurry and wash up and decide to wear one of my outfits I made.I choose a purple glitter outfit. It has double stacked pants with cargo pockets. The top is made like overalls with the two clips in front and stops just above my belly button.The only difference is there are sheer sleeves.

I brush my damp hair and do an up down the front is in a ponytail and the back is naturally curly hanging down.I hate that I only have the ballet flats to wear but my pants mostly cover them up. I take a moment to look at my phone and see I have 20 missed calls from Diamond and a bunch of text messages as well.

Diamond: "I had a great time last night, wanna do lunch today."

Diamond: "You must be busy."

Diamond: "What did I do that you're not responding."

Diamond: Are you OK. I am freaking out

Diamond: What did i do to deserve this. I thought we had something special. I'll just leave you alone and when you are ready we can talk. I luv you.

I grab my school books and head down stairs to make breakfast before the Alpha and Luna awake. I enter the kitchen and find a team of Omegas finishing up breakfast. I am so confused as each of them greet me by name. The head omega comes and ushers me into the pack dining hall where there are a couple people hanging around. She sits me at the Alphas table at the end seat. The rest of the omegas come in and starts to set up the breakfast buffet just in time as the Alpha and Luna enter the dining hall, followed by my family and other ranked members.

I shrink down in my chair knowing I am going to get in trouble for sitting in the dining room, let alone the Alpha's table. My sister takes her seat and double takes a look at me. "What is this wh××e doing sitting at our table," she shrieks. Alpha let's out a menacing growl and she shrinks back into her chair.

I stand to leave but Rico stops me by putting a hand on my shoulder and pushing me down gently. When Star sees what I am wearing she instantly looks jealous, and then a smirk crosses her face. "Mom your daughter stole my outfit, make her take it off." "The Alpha looks at me with a raised eyebrow and ask me if this is true. I flinch at his words" Alpha the outfit is mine, I made it myself."

"She is lying, she has no talent or style for that matter," Star whines. "If you made it , then prove it," Star complains. I rise from the table and turn facing my back to everyone. There is a little purple tag that says SLAYED BY SALEL, and my name stitched in purple glitter thread across the back.

I hear the table gasp as I lift my hair and turn around to see everyone stunned. I smile but the shock is a little much for just an outfit. "You let her get a tattoo too, I hate her," Star yells. "ENOUGH," the Alpha booms. "It is not a tattoo," he says sadly with a look of regret on his face. " Your mother and I gave her..." "A beautiful gift," I cut him off and says. I look at my mother and the Alpha and give them a nod and a smile.

You could visibly see them relax. I open a private link letting Alpha and my mother know I forgive them. A tear slides down my mother's face and she reaches over and rubs my hand. I am suddenly overcome by a tingling sensation as my brother's death flashes before my eyes. "Open the link," I hear Freyga say in the depths of my mind

I open a pack wide mind link which is how wolves communicate in our minds without having to speak outloud. The scene 8 years ago when my brother was ki××ed is played for everyone to see. The room gets extremely quiet and everyone is focused on what I am showing them.The memory ends with my body shaking uncontrollably and the Rogues evaporating into thin air, with nothing but their bl××d remaining, as I fall to the ground unconscious, claws extended.

My mother and father release a blood curdling howl as the memory of their oldest child's de@th is brought to light. I end the link and take a moment before opening my eyes. Before me, my mother and father are on their knees begging me for forgiveness."Saleste we didn't know," my mother begins. "How can you ever forgive us after all everyone has put you through," my father cries to me.

"I have forgiven you all a long time ago, but I haven't forgot," I let them know. With that i remove their hands from mine and sit to finish my first breakfast with my family in 8 years. The Alpha links me and ask me how I showed everyone a memory, and I let him know it is one of many gifts Selene the Moon Goddess has given me. Mistake number one on my part.

When I'm finished I ask to be excused for school, and the Alpaha nods."Why don't you let Rico drop you off," he asks, which catches me completely off guard. "NO thank you. I have walked since I was 10 and I'll keep it that way."

I pick up my bookbag and head out the door looking forward to the day ahead. As I am walking up the road and I hear a car approaching me really fast. I jump out of the way as Star's BMW barely misses me. Sky is in the passenger seat and she jumps out and hugs me. I brought your phone to your room last night and rubbed ointment on your back, my wolf Reign said something told her to do it, and thats when I saw your back." "I noticed this morning the name is gone from the middle of the heart but don't worry your secret is safe with me," she whispers.

Star gets out the car and rips me from Sky's arms. "Ewww don't touch her, I don't know how you are my twin sometimes." "I don't know how you pulled that little stunt earlier, but you are still trash," Star says. She pushes me down in the grass and walks off to her BMW.

I get up and dust myself off hoping my outfit is not ruined. I finally make it to school, and I am receiving a lot of weird looks from my peers. Not bad looks, but looks in general. Some people even tell me hello as I'm walking to my locker. I bend the hall that my locker is on and standing next to my locker is a very pissed off Diamond. Sh!t I never texted her to let her know I would speak to her at school.
