Chapter 1: Save Me From This Pain Sloane's POV I was sent a pornographic video. With my head banging from the drink I had just consumed, I sat in the office of the Pack's Beta that I was and tried to stay stable. Ronan had sent me that label less bottle of wine. "You will need this!" He had said to me. "That motherfucker!" I spat in my head. He's always trying to get on my nerves and at the same time, keeps me nervous for reasons I couldn't explain. "I think I needed to sleep." I thought and was just about to close my computer when suddenly, my eyes caught an email Ronan had just sent. This was the second time he will be sending an email today. "What the hell does he want?" I rolled my eyes as I suddenly caught the subject of the email. "SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER KNOWN" I chuckled. Is there anything I have never seen before? I had the urge to ignore but I guess I had to give him face this time, after all it's my mating ceremony the next day with the chosen Alpha, Ethan Blackwell, who was Ronan's younger brother. I sat up and managed to open the email with my head still banging. A link to a footage? I was surprised to see that. This seemed interesting and in the next second, I clicked on the link and was suddenly met with a sight that almost had me jumping out of my seat. Ethan? What the hell was he doing in a room we had both agreed to not step into till the mating ceremony was done? Ethan sat on the bed almost naked and at his front was a young woman I couldn't quite recognize. Her face wasn't showing and her back faced the screen. Even though she had a familiar figure, I barely had the urge to imagine that was her until she pulled out her dress and turned to face Ethan with a smiling face. "You look hot!" Ethan spat and I frowned. "Madison?" I muttered with a frown. What the... Madison Ashford, my best friend. I grew up having just her as my best friend. I told her my secrets and together we had stick up for each other. But now, here she was, currently in my room and seducing my fiance a day to my mating ceremony. Ronan felt like a life savior this time. Without this video, I would have gone ahead with the damn mating ceremony without ever knowing that this happened. Madison turned and rushed to lock the door as she paced around the room, mocking me, her voice sounding out loud. "I honestly have no idea who that b***h thinks she is. She isn't even that beautiful. Why the hell would you even want to marry her?" Madison asked Ethan who sat, staring deeply at Madison curves. "It's not like she can make you go crazy as I do. You love curves, you love it intense. That b***h lacks it." She said and went closer, going down on Ethan who sat on the bed and choked on his d**k for minutes while he had his head back, moaning in pleasure. Then she got up and sighed the wedding gown I had specifically chosen for myself. I almost broke into the screen when I saw that, my heart feeling like a huge rock was thrown at it as I watched Madison put on my wedding dress with a smirk on her face. "How about a ride with that dress on?" Ethan asked. "Good thing I have the curves to pull this outfit. I'd hate to be a stick figure like that b***h you are about to do a favor by marrying tomorrow. My hands stretched out as I watched in distress how Madison rough handled my wedding dress while saying s**t about me to my fiance. I thought she loved me. "Why am I such a fool?" I asked in my heart. I always failed to see when people truly loved me and when they don't and this right here was an example. I had seen Madison as my everything but these was all she ever thought of me. While talking, they got into the bed and entangled under the sheets. The thought of what could happen under those sheets drive me crazy. So much that I was about to lose control. "I love your waist movements under the sheets unlike that lifeless corpse. She's so useless here on the bed. I wonder why she got this room decorated. It's not like she can give me a perfect ride like you." Ethan mocked, his words shredding me. I grabbed my chest as I tried to stay strong. My world felt like it was spinning. I was losing control. I knew it. But I dared not move else I cause chaos in the pack house. My tears rolled down like I had a fountain in their and each drop that landed on my chest sent a ripple through my heart. "You are so right. She's so weak yet pretends to be strong. I really hate that your father chose her over me when I'm clearly the one woman with the most potential for you. While we were at school, I always saved her from bullies else she would have been dead but that was just because I wanted to win her favor and stay by her side. But guess what? I sent the bullies haha. I did it for love. For you!" Madison spat and locked her lips with Ethan who liked it so much that he pulled her closer and f****d her like he was a beast in bed. Madison moaned like it was all she needed to die. How could my only best friend and my mate betray me in the most critical moment of my life? "I always knew you loved me and I felt same. I would never have agreed to Sloane if she was never useful to the pack. To the pack though, not here on the bed." He added and they both laughed as they f****d like maniacs. By this time, I was already on my knees, feeling the deepest pain from being betrayed and cheated on at the same time. My tears filled the floor around my as I tumbled, holding my belly. As though pins dug at my heart, I wailed but in silence and that only made it worse. "Moon goddess! I'm dying! I had thought you'd been saving me. What's all these and how do you plan...to save me from this pain." I cried. The drink I had on earlier had dissipated and being replaced by the pain of my reality. Kneeling with all my strength, I decided to connect with him. I took a deep breath and then immediately connects with my eyes closed and my heart ripping. "Ethan!" I called and watched the screen as they paused the moment I reach out to him. He almost sat up but a look from Madison got him laying back at her command. Madison moans loudly, sounding desperate and deliberate at the same time but I was going to ignore that. She isn't worth my time and Ethan? He's not worth it to be called my mate. I had never felt so disgusted in my life. "We have a mating ceremony tomorrow remember?" I asked and watched as he rolled his eyes on screen. "D...did you prepare the wedding dress?" I asked and watched the silent laugh Madison showed as she lifted the wedding dress and waving it at his face while she teased his d**k with her foot and inserted it back in her p***y. Ethan then resumes banging her right there ignoring me. Before I could say something else, he forcibly disconnected the mind-link. I had the urge to dig my fingers into the tile ground, I was certain there was no greater pain like the one I felt in my heart. "I curse the day I met you Ethan! You're a pain to my very soul!" I spat and stared at the screen again, my eyes almost lifeless. "How naive of her to think about this shitty dress." Madison spat and pulled the dress and squirted on it deliberately. "Ouch! Now the dress is gone! What is she gonna do now? I feel so bad for her innocent tasteless ass." "Don't tell me you feel pity for her. Whatever you do serves her right!" Ethan spat. I chuckled deeply with a bitte smile on my face. "I see Ethan!" I muttered and struggled to get up. I was sick of watching. I used my last strength to get into the room that was built right inside my office and fell on the bed. I stared at the ceiling and for the first time, I knew what I had to do. It was over! I didn't need to say it out loud. Then I got up. I needed to leave the Silverpine pack before sunrise. Before the f*****g mating ceremony. I then looked around me and realized I didn't have too many belongings. So I grabbed my sword and turned to leave. I guess my sword was all I needed, to slay anyone who dress stand in the way of me leaving this pack. Suddenly, I felt connected to someone. "What dares to mind-link me without my consent and at such moment? Do you crave death?" I muttered, my eyes turning colder. I had the urge to slaughter already. "It's me, Ronan Blackwell, the Alpha’s eldest son, born of the Alpha and his former mate." A dangerous, powerful voice with a dark, enigmatic aura responded to me. I froze. Ronan? My nervous system suddenly activated as I stood frozen. "Do you like the gift I sent you?" Ronan’s magnetic voice sounded again through the mind link. Use cool English words and keep the plot.
