Chapter 9: Already Gone

Ginny woke up late the next morning with a splitting headache. The sun that came through the windows was bright and harsh in her eyes. She sat up gingerly and looked around the room. Someone had set a bottle of water and some headache pills on her nightstand. Ginny took the pills and drank the water gratefully. It was Sunday and there was nothing Ginny had to do today, so she took her time getting up and getting ready. The warm shower water felt good on her skin and on her shoulders. They were still a little sore from being slammed into the ground by Maxim last night. Ginny was still trying to come to terms with everything that had happened. There was entirely too much to think about, so Ginny decided to focus on one thing at a time. She finished showering, dried her hair and got dress
