Chapter Three

Chapter Three   As we got closer, Nathan said some thing to the bouncer and he let us through.  I followed him to a table full of beautiful people. Was he a model or some thing? That would make sense, to be honest. When we got there, we went over and sat down with them and patted the seat next to me. I sat there, awkwardly, surrounded by people who looked like they had just stepped out the pages of a high end fashion magazine. I'd never felt more out of place in my entire life!... As soon as I sat down, Nath dropped an arm over my shoulders, A movement I noticed that didn't go unnoticed by some of the other people we were sat with. I tried to ignore it, but every now and then one of them would say some thing and they would look over. it got to the point where it was actually making me feel bad. I leaned over and tapped Nathan on the shoulder. 'What's up?' He asked, noticing the expression on my face. 'I'm sorry, I'm gonna go'. 'What? Why?' 'Nothing just..' I decided it was probably a good idea not to say any thing. 'Nothing, I'm just tired'. While I didn't say any thing, When I glanced up at the group of people sat opposite us, Nathan noticed. 'It was nice to meet you'. I stood up and left the table, Ignoring Nathan calling me.   Walking out the club, I fished around in my hand bag, looking for my phone. Since all my friends were gone, I'd need to book a taxi. 'Hey, Hey, Xenia, Wait'. I heard Nathan before I saw him and turned around to look at him. 'Look, I'm sorry, I know I'm probably coming across as really rude but-' 'You're not. Did some one say some thing?' I shook my head. 'No'. They didn't need to. Their looks were enough. 'If it felt like people were staring at you, they were, but only because of me'. I looked at him, confused. 'Huh?' He opened his mouth to speak but as he did, An arm came over his shoulder and an even taller, blonde guy appeared. Nathan turned to look at him and smiled 'Hey babe'. Babe?! 'Xenia. This is my boy friend, Shane'. I sware, my jaw hit the floor... 'BOY FRIEND!?!?!' 'Yes, Boy friend'. Of course, the only reason he was so sweet.. he was gay! I looked between the two, gotta admit, they looked like a cute couple. I realised my remark must have sounded so rude. 'I'm so sorry, hey, Nice to meet you'. I held my hand out to Nathan's boy friend, He took it and shook it. 'Are you leaving?' He asked. I looked down at my phone, the taxi number already punched in. 'Yeah, Its- Its been a long night'. The two guys shared another look. 'If you don't want to go back in and deal with those bitches staring then we can go some where else and get a drink'. I thought about it for a moment, To be honest, the only reason I didn't want to go back inside is I felt awkward. 'Sure, Why not'. They grinned. 'Awesome. I'll go get our stuff while you book a taxi'. Nathan nodded and pulled out his phone. 'I didn't realise you... you know'. I kept my voice low. He c****d his head to the side. 'What?' 'You were gay'. He let out the loudest laugh and shook his head. 'I'm not, I'm Bi'. He finished the comment off with a cheeky wink before he put the phone to his ear and booked us a taxi to take us to some hotel. While I had never been there, I knew of it. It was probably the most expensive one in the city. Nathan had explained that that was the hotel he and his boy friend, Shane were staying in.
