Aria
Aaaagggghhh. She internally screamed as she held the pillow against her face. She felt it heat up with embarrassment as he cleaned up the after affects of their love making. Her body felt deliciously sore and tender. She couldn’t believe how wonderful it had felt. It had hurt for a little while, but before and after.... ohhhh. The thought of doing it again was very attractive to her. She surprised herself. As he came back to her side and pulled her to him, she felt her sore muscles and realised that it would take a little while to recover. She felt herself drift to sleep while being held in his arms. Her last though was that she felt like she belonged.
Cam
Alpha. Sorry to disturb you, but we have news on the rogues and need you to come back to the pack. They seem to be planning something.
Just, give me some time Max. I need to talk to my mate. Will be there soon.
As he turned his head and saw Aria sleeping so peacefully, he contemplated if he could punish his beta for disturbing his precious time with his mate. He sighed as he realised he really did have to go. An Alpha's work was never done. He was proud that his pack had managed so well on his brief time away. As if sensing him staring at her, Aria's eyes fluttered open. They were hazy with sleep at first before finally clearing up and gaining focus.
“hello my love.” He whispered as he stroked her face. “I am afraid I need to leave you for a little while. Do you remember when we first met? That other wolf? “ when she nodded, he continued on. “Well, he is what’s called a Rogue. Rogues are werewolves that don’t have a pack. Usually it’s because of a punishment. It is the most serious one that we have. They are angry and violent. There are a few that have been spotted in this area and our pack has been monitoring them. My beta has alerted me that they see to be planning some trouble. So I need to get back and handle this. “ He pressed a kiss to her forehead. “While I am gone, I would like you to consider maybe moving in with me. Getting to know my, and your future pack. After I go back and figure out what we should do. I will return and we can talk about our future. Is that...... would that be something you would be ok with?” he felt his nerves tighten as she stared at him. She was so quiet. It felt like forever before he finally heard her ‘ok". He let out a sigh of relief as he pulled her close and embraced her. She felt so good in his arms that he was tempted just to take her back now, but he knew that a lot had happened and she needed time to think.
He got up and quickly got dressed before turning to see her surrounded by blankets and pillows. She looked so soft and inviting that he couldn’t help but gulp. She was an intoxicating temptation. He closed his eyes for a minute and gave himself a shake.
“You are making it very hard to go.”
Her eyes widen as she innocently looks at him, “I’m not doing anything.” He growls and leans over, kissing her passionately as she leans back. Her arms curling around his neck and pulling him down to the bed. He groans in frustration as he pulls away. “When I get back, we will be continuing this.” He muffs and turns, practically fleeing from the room.

As she watches him bolt from the room she can’t help but chuckle. She can’t believe how powerful she feels. She saw the need and desire in his eyes and she started to consider all the ways she could take advantage of his delicious body. She stretched her sore muscles and was hit by a spark of inspiration. She lept from the bed and grabbed her laptop before diving back under the covers and starting it up. As she opened a new word document, her fingers flew over the keys. In a few short hours she had written pages and pages of her new story. She felt her stomach protest as she looked at the clock. Holy crap. She had missed breakfast and lunch was a few hours ago. She saved her work before getting out of bed and grabbing some clothes. After she was dressed, she went into the kitchen to see what she could scrounge up. She was feeling lazy and didn’t want to fuss. But as she opened the door to the fridge, she broke into a smile. There was a plate with a wrapped up sandwich, a bowl of soup and a post it note. As she grabbed a bottle of OJ, tucking it under her arm while grabbing the bowl and the plate. She used her foot to shut the door as she read the note. ‘Thought you might be hungry. Take care of yourself. Miss you already. Love you. Cam.’
She realised that they had never got around to dinner last night. She put the tomato soup in the microwave and the sandwich under the grill to warm back up.
As she sat down to eat, a warm feeling spread through her as she realised it had been a long time since someone had cooked for her. The simple meal tasted better than a Michelin star restaurant’s fare.
After she finished her late lunch, she washed the plate, bowl and spoon and put them aside to air dry before walking into the living room and dropping down on the couch. She sat cross legged and let her mind wonder. Cam was amazing. He made her feel special and safe and gave her a sense of belonging she hadn’t felt since her parents died. As she looked around her cabin, she realised that she wasn’t really attached to it. It was the place she had been living these past few years, but it didn’t f like home. The walls were mostly bare and there were few trinkets spread around. She had never gotten around to decorating or putting out her things. There were still boxes filling the spare room. All the things she had brought from home were still put away. The only things she had gotten around to unpacking were a couple of family photos, her clothes and the day to day necessities. All the things that turn a place from a house to a home were lock away as if they were waiting. She had put her life on hold . The fear and worry that Jackson would one day find her had kept her from living her life. Cam was giving her a choice to live her life with him. She reflected on her feelings and their time together. It had only been a few weeks, but she just knew. When he came back, she would say yes. “yes.” She said it loud. She smiled, laughed and raised her hands to her cheeks as she shook her head. She took a few deep breaths and stood up. Joy and excitement filled her as all the future possibilities whirled in her mind. Those feeling were quickly replaced with icy fear as she heard a loud bang. Then a crash and a thud. She turned and saw her front door askew. Broken pieces of wood and twisted metal strewn on the carpet. There, in the doorway was the brown wolf from back then. Her shrill scream pierced the air.
