“So explain to me why you need Avril so badly?” I question Brielle. I have my hand brushing her thigh to make sure she pays attention to nothing but me. Having this woman in my control feels so good. My father is also in the room listening. He’s not particularly happy about me having a witch for a second chance mate, and even madder that I apparently let a powerful wolf slip through my grasp.
Brielle smiles seductively at me. “The Emerald wolf can see the future and is the easiest to control of the Gemstone wolves. The other wolves tend to have more active abilities and can fight back. Your first mate has not only the ability to see the future, but has the ability of insight and strategy as well.”
