I hug and kiss my mate goodbye before I get into the car to go back to Shadow Mist. It’s only temporary. I tell myself and Emerald. She whimpers. My head is still throbbing, though I did note that while my eyes were closed and I was fighting Renee, my headache was kept at bay. After the car had gone a ways out, I allowed myself to go blind again.

“Have you decided yet?” The black-haird witch had an annoying smile as she looks at both my brother and Elya stuck in a cell.
