Contacting the council immediately after Aaron felt his parent’s pain was definitely one of my better plans. Wesley retaliating against Aaron using innocent pack members was what the council needed to move things forward. I can’t help but feel bad that Aaron and Avril’s parents had to pay the price. After all they were like family to us, despite the friendship between our fathers being strained because they wouldn’t get rid of Avril.
The way my father would talk about Avril was always inappropriate and straight up mean. I’m just glad I ignored his prejudices and found my best friend in the process.
