Avril’s POV
I wake up next to Asher and couldn’t feel more complete. I feel like I never felt at Jade Pack. This is my home. Sure, I’m nervous about the rest of the pack finding out their Luna is blind, but I feel an acceptance here that I never felt at my previous pack. Even at Shadow Mist, where the Alphas were welcoming, everything about it felt temporary, like a vacation. This feels permanent, like I finally found my place. I sit up, remembering wanting to visit Autumn in the hospital. I borrow Emerald’s eyes, since I’m not as familiar with the room yet. I quickly get out of bed and retrieve some clothing from my not yet unpacked items. A simple shift dress and leggings will suffice for a hospital visit. I tie my hair into a quick ponytail after brushing it out.
I hear Asher wake up.
