Chapter 1 The woman's grip was so tight, on a cup in front of her filled with caffeine, but tears flowed unbidden in the middle of the slightly dim room. She looked down in despair. A wheel lever was heard turning in the room. She knew who was about to enter the room. Who else if not Aiden Edelmar. A useless disabled man. Audie stared at the useless man in front of her coldly and piercingly. The gaze was also so cynical. Aiden looked at Audie, intending to say something, but Audie's words silenced him. “Are you going to disappear again for a few days? After seeing me like this?” Audie's tone rose slightly. Aiden was in a coma because he helped her younger brother Zagi until he became disabled. Because of all that, the family decided that Audie would repay the debt of life by marrying the comatose man who was now a worthless loser in front of her. She wasn't angry at Aiden; she just hated her fate, which was so bad that she experienced everything. But now she was so fed up with everything. Her grandmother wanted her to give up. Hand over everything she had built with great difficulty to her younger brother just because he was a man and was considered more reliable. 3 years ago, she was in her prime, beating her younger brother in everything. She was so competent, intelligent, and had a broad mind. In her career, she was always superior. But the family's bias that sided with her younger brother, who was the heir, trapped her.
