Later, when the pleasurable drowsing had passed, Mel, her head resting on Jim's bare chest, spoke in a soft, hesitant voice. “Jim, what does this mean for us?” He ran his fingers through her hair and then down her back until he was cupping her bottom. “What do you want it to mean, Mel?” “I don't know exactly,” she replied honestly. “I think it's obvious that I'm really attracted to you. and if what just happened is any indication, you feel the same way, right?” He leaned up and kissed the top of her head. “Yes, Mel. Of course, I am.
