That evening, the oldest children played Old Maid at the table with Erin, while Sean and William wrestled on the floor. Alyssa, sitting next to Drew on the couch, watched their antics. Ethan crept towards the father and son with a rapt expression. It made Alyssa feel a little guilty that he'd missed out on having a dad all these years. Tentatively, he approached the pair and Sean quickly swept him into the fun, growling like a bear and tickling him, making him shriek with laughter.
