Drew opened the door to an unexpected knock and blinked to find Alyssa there in her pajamas. “What's up, Allie?” he asked.
“Can I come in?”
What's that look on her face? “Okay.”
She sat on the edge of the bed.
“Did you need anything?”
She turned burning turquoise eyes on him and answered, “Yes. I've been listening to your brother and his wife get it on for the last half hour. Now Erin and Sean are at it. It's killing me. Can't we please…?”
“Can't we what Alyssa?” She can't mean what I think she means. There's no way.
“Make love? Look, I'm prepared.” She handed him the condoms.
Oh Lord, she does mean it. Should I accept? He looked at the handful of prophylactics, and then he set them on the nightstand. “I'm sorry. I can't do it.”
She gaped at him. “Why not? We've made love before.”
