He’s the ghost in the system. She’s the fire that can burn him alive.

Phantom—a ruthless hacker with a past buried in blood—is untouchable. No one sees him. No one finds him. Until he makes one mistake: hacking the Moretti Mafia’s encrypted files.

Now, the mafia wants his head. But instead of a bullet, he gets an offer from Isabella Moretti—the dangerous, seductive daughter of the Don.

Her price? His skills. His loyalty. His body.

Torn between deadly alliances, military secrets, and Isabella’s sinful touch, Phantom is playing a dangerous game. But in this world, you either control the system… or become its slave.

Will he outsmart the mafia and escape, or will he fall deeper—into power, desire, and the kind of danger that has no way out?

Episode 1: The Ghost in the System
The glow of multiple monitors cast eerie shadows across the darkened room. The only sound was the rhythmic clicking of a mechanical keyboard, fast, precise, relentless. Phantom leaned back slightly in his chair, his sharp eyes scanning lines of code scrolling at an inhuman speed. His fingers danced across the keys, breaking through layers of digital security that would take an entire government team weeks to crack. "Almost there…" This wasn’t just another hack. He wasn’t in it for the thrill, or the money. He was hunting for something—something buried deep in the Moretti Mafia’s encrypted vaults. A secret powerful enough to shake the foundation of their empire. The last firewall crumbled. A private directory flashed open, revealing a hidden folder: “Project Requiem.” Bingo. Phantom exhaled through his nose, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. Whatever was inside that folder was important. Too important. He copied the files onto a secure drive, heartbeat steady, mind razor-sharp. And then— BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. A red screen flashed across his monitor. ACCESS DENIED. TRACE ACTIVATED. Phantom’s smirk vanished. "Shit." He tapped furiously at his keyboard, erasing his digital footprints. He had twenty seconds before they locked onto his location. His system was built to be impenetrable, but someone—someone good—had just flipped his own defenses against him. BEEP. BEEP. A new screen popped up. A video feed. A woman sat in an opulent, dimly lit office, swirling a glass of deep red wine. Her eyes—dangerous and dark—stared directly into the camera. “Well, well. The infamous Phantom.” Her voice was smooth, laced with amusement… and something more dangerous. Phantom’s muscles tensed. He knew who she was before she even said her name. Isabella Moretti. Daughter of Lorenzo Moretti—head of the most feared mafia family in Europe. Cunning, ruthless, and always three steps ahead. And she had just trapped him. “Did you really think you could waltz into my father’s system and not trigger a few alarms?” she continued, taking a slow sip of wine. “Tsk, tsk, hacker boy. I expected better.” Phantom’s jaw clenched, but his voice remained calm. “Bold of you to assume I’m trapped.” Isabella smirked. “Bold of you to assume I didn’t already find you.” CRASH. The window behind him exploded. Phantom ducked instinctively, grabbing his laptop as bullets sprayed through the small apartment. They were here. SUVs screeched to a halt outside. Heavy boots thundered up the stairs. "s**t, s**t, shit." Phantom shoved the hard drive into his pocket and bolted for the fire escape. He leaped over the railing, landing with a roll on the ground below. A van swerved into his path, doors flying open. A flash of black boots. A gun barrel aimed straight at his head. Then—sharp pain. A sting in his neck. His vision blurred. His limbs went slack. The last thing he saw before the darkness swallowed him was Isabella Moretti stepping out of the car, watching him with a victorious smirk. --- Darkness. Then… Light. Phantom’s head pounded as he came to. The rich scent of expensive leather and perfume invaded his senses. His arms ached—restrained. Slowly, he blinked his vision into focus. A luxurious room. Dim lighting. A fireplace crackling in the corner. He was tied to a leather chair, his shirt slightly undone, his wrists bound with silk cuffs. Not rope. Not metal. Silk. That detail made his stomach twist. This wasn’t just an interrogation. This was a game. And he already knew who was playing. Click. Click. Click. The sound of heels echoed through the silence. Isabella Moretti stepped into view. Dressed in a form-fitting black dress, her long, dark hair cascaded over one shoulder. She held a fresh glass of wine, swirling it lazily, her red lips curling into a smirk. “You put up a decent fight,” she mused, eyes trailing over him like he was something she owned. “But you were never going to win.” Phantom rolled his shoulders, testing his restraints. “If you wanted to kill me, I’d be dead already.” Isabella tilted her head. “True. Which means I have… other plans for you.” She took a slow step forward, closing the distance between them. Her perfume was subtle but intoxicating. She placed one manicured finger under his chin, tilting his face up to meet hers. Her eyes burned into his. Challenging. Tempting. Dangerous. “You work for me now, Phantom.” He arched a brow. “I don’t work for anyone.” Isabella’s smirk deepened. She leaned in closer, her breath warm against his ear. “We’ll see about that.” Her lips barely grazed his skin as she pulled back. Phantom could feel the heat radiating between them—a different kind of battle. A game of power. Of control. And he had no choice but to play. --- TO BE CONTINUED...
