8 REGINA – 1938 The tavern was lightly populated for a Saturday evening, but then, it was early hours. It would probably fill up after nine. Regina and Henry had started coming back here to the place where they had first met on a regular basis, and she especially liked to remember that wonderful evening that changed her life so dramatically. Even though they had been married now over ten years, Henry was still very romantic, and tonight, he had given her a single red rose to wear on the lapel of her coat.
