  Julie honestly didn't know what to say to that as memories of how much they "enjoyed" her last night. She fought the urge to melt against him, letting those words soothe her.   "Something smells delicious!" her mother called from the other room.   "Absolutely!" her father agreed. "When's dinner? We're starving!"   Julie pulled away quickly and moved to the other side of the table, as far away from Dax as possible. Her all too overactive hormones protested her move. Still, she shoved them deep down, along with some warm, squishy emotions she refused to examine too closely.   Dax didn't seem to take the hint that she needed space between them.
