Character Explanation
Arthur Harper
An orphaned boy who is sixteen years old during the main events, while appearing in flashback scenes at the age of fourteen. He has brown hair and gray eyes that reflect the depth of his thoughts. His personality is calm, inclined toward reflection and analysis; he speaks very little but notices everything around him. As events progress, his life becomes almost entirely tied to "Adrian," until his presence turns into a central axis in his decisions and motivations.
Adrian Lawrence
A boy belonging to a noble and wealthy family, aged fourteen in the present timeline and twelve in flashbacks. He has blond hair and blue eyes that give him a calm and innocent appearance. His personality is gentle and quiet, yet he carries hidden fears he never expresses. Despite this, he appears mostly at ease, especially when Arthur is beside him, as he finds safety and stability in his presence.
Victor Lawrence
Adrian's older brother, sharing the same blond hair and blue eyes, but completely different in essence. He has an arrogant and condescending personality to a degree that pushes others away, as he sees himself above everyone else. He lacks genuine relationships, as his pride prevents him from forming real friendships, leaving him isolated despite his social status. He is sixteen years old during the main events, and appears in flashbacks at the age of fourteen, where the early signs of his current personality begin to form gradually.
Frank Lawrence
Adrian's father, a man with a strong presence and a balanced, rational personality. He has blond hair and blue eyes, which his children inherited. He believes in the importance of thinking before making any decision and deals with matters with wisdom and calmness. He shows clear love for his family and pays special attention to Adrian, perhaps because he sees in him a sensitive side that requires extra care.
Marin Lawrence
Adrian's mother (and Frank's cousin), a woman who embodies contradictions in her personality. She has the family's blond hair and blue eyes. She shows deep love for both of her sons, but clearly leans more toward Adrian, which may create subtle tension within the family. She has a childlike and spontaneous nature with those she loves and trusts, but becomes serious and reserved when dealing with strangers.
