I hadn't left.
Three days had passed since I'd packed my bags, since I'd told Diana I was returning to Red Fang territory, since I'd made the logical decision to remove myself from a situation that was slowly tearing me apart. Yet here I was, finding excuses to delay my departure for one more day, then another.
