" If you don't love him anymore as you claim then prove it." James said.

" How." I asked.

" Be my girlfriend."

I was a 20 years old young adult and the only child of her mother. My dad was  the CEO of Henderson group of companies, one of the best companies in the country.

I study at Greenland campus, one of the best universities in the state but in exchange I have only two options; Get a husband before turning 25 or lose the company to my younger sister. Samantha.

And now studying at Greenland campus I met with Emile and Ivy, my roommates and Ethan , my boyfriend.

I watched Ethan and Samantha, my younger sister's video s*x tape but wasn't surprised because I had planned it.

I got humiliated and swore revenge when the video was posted on the student's platform and everyone got to know Ethan cheated on me with my sister.

Still in between this James Hunter the celebrity steps in and I found myself falling for him.

While Samantha always tried to prove to me she was on top of the game.

I and James started a relationship. I trusted him and gave him all that he wanted.

Then Dan happened to be Damien James's best friend.

He was wearing a mask all this while.

He was  my long-time boyfriend. The guy I once loved.

I left for home and told my mom about it but then she told me something unbelievable. " Your father already has a husband for you.".

Heartbroken and depressed I left for a hotel only to later find out the worst thing ever.

James wasn't really in love with me, he was just playing along with a DARE all this while.

Pass My Revenge
"Check out what your sister and boyfriend are doing behind your back." The message popped up on my phone as I unlocked it. Beneath the text was a video file. My fingers hesitated for a moment before I tapped it. My breath caught in my throat as the faces on the screen became clear. Ethan. My boyfriend. And Samantha. My sister. A bitter laugh escaped my lips. I'm not surprised, nor am I going to take action because of a reason known to me. But then I know the true type of guy he is. I covered my eyes with my hand, trying to stop the tears that were threatening to fall. I wiped the corner of my eyes. "Pathetic," I muttered. "Crying over him? Never." And about my own younger sister, on the other hand. She had always been that way, wanting what belonged to me. My clothes, my friends, my attention, and now my boyfriend. She was trying to get revenge for a mistake I made a few years back. My father's voice echoed in my mind. "Clara, before you turn twenty-five, you must get married and prepare to take over the company. If you fail, Samantha will inherit everything. And now, the person I thought loved me for two years was on the verge of falling for that same sister of mine. My eyes scanned around; students were whispering about something. The hallway was filled with students. The air smelt of a mixture of different colognes. People's gazes fell on me as I walked past. I was used to stares from guys, but this time it was different; the girls were also staring. My breath hitched. Why were they staring so hard at me? I could hear quiet whispers from some of them, and the others were focused on something they were watching on their phones. I held my handbag tightly and raised my head, ignoring their looks. "Ooh, the campus president dumped her filthy ass," a girl suddenly screamed. I turned my back and noticed it was one of the new students among a group of girls. I screwed up my face into a frown and stared back hard at her and her friends. Ethan was the campus president, and I needed no one to tell me they were talking about me. "You just need to take heart," another one of them said. My nose flared as I clenched my fist tightly. What the hell were they talking about? "Clara... is it really true?" I suddenly heard Ivy's voice as she walked towards me. Ivy, she was my best friend and roommate, the one who understood everything about me. The one who always made me laugh even when I didn't want to smile. My brows drew together. "What's true?" I asked, looking at her. "This." She said, moving her phone close to my face. I froze as a video played on her phone. It was a video of Samantha and Ethan. The one I’d planned but tried to hide from others. But now everyone knows Ethan cheated on me with my own sister. I let out a little gasp as humiliation flushed through me. Everywhere went dead silent. I knew they were waiting for my response. I took a deep breath, tears prickling at the corner of my eyes. I sniffed. I wasn't going to let anyone see I was broken. I quickly blinked back the tears and stormed out of the hallway without looking back at anyone. Samantha did play her game in two ways this time. My head ached terribly as I hurried to my dorm. Suddenly, I got hit by something hard. I quickly stepped back, struggling to catch my balance, my journals falling to the floor. Whispers came from people standing nearby. "Don't you watch where you are going?" I heard a sharp masculine voice. I looked up to see who it was. It was James Hunter, the popular celebrity king. The celebrity everyone was dying to take pictures with. The one all girls were trying to have a chance with. James Hunter. The popular celebrity king. "Maybe if celebrities stopped walking like they owned the world, people wouldn't bump into them," I fired back at him as I bent down to pick up my journals. 'My eyes scanned around as people began to bring out my phone to film us. That was the main thing I hated about campus life: gossip and unnecessary drama. His brows suddenly drew together. "Did you just talk back to me?" he asked. I sniffed. "Yes. And I will do it again if you keep blocking my way," I replied without blinking. His friends suddenly burst out laughing. "Bro, she doesn't know who you are," one of them said to James. I could sense some people staring at us, and quiet whispers circulated around my ears. I took a quick breath and was about to walk past when a hand drew me back. "Aren't you going to apologise to James Hunter?" one of them blurted out. "Why should I?" I said. They let out a little gasp. My heart skipped a beat at every step they took closer to me. What did they want to do? This wasn't funny anymore. I stepped back, clutching my journals tightly. "What do you want?" I yelled. "Drop it, guys," James mouthed, raising his hand. I blinked my eyelashes rapidly as they stopped to his words. A smirk appeared on his face as he bent close enough for me to feel his breath near my ear. “Careful, I'm not the cause of your pain.” He said, his smirk deepening as he walked away. “Then let me be.” I mouthed and walked away. My hand hovered on the doorknob as I turned it open. I staggered back and shut the door behind me. My eyes landed on Emile sitting on her bed. She was my second roommate and one of the hottest baddies on campus. We'd all play and talk whenever we came back from lectures after each day. But today I don't think anyone is in the mood for that. “Tell me what I'm hearing is a lie, Clara.” Emile voiced out. “Just let me be, please.” I replied. I threw my handbag on the mini table and sank into the bed. The tears I had been fighting back fell freely now. My eyes fixed on the white ceiling. I swallowed hard. Not for the sake of cheating or betrayal but for the sake of humiliation. I'd make sure I pass my revenge on Ethan and Samantha. Even if it required my last breath.
