Once Bani and Tuhin were taken into custody, Miloni was glad that the danger to Arko’s life was over. She had been on edge over the threat that hung over Arko’s life. Now that they were behind bars, Miloni could breathe easy. The residents of Kymore were totally horrified that Bani had seized her father’s body and kept it in her house. And they mused wonderingly if nature itself had wanted to get rid of the house because a week after Bani was taken into custody and her father’s body was cremated, the house where Bani and her father had lived, collapsed after a summer storm. The heavy winds and rain had continued for two days and none of the residents could step out of the house. When the storm was over, they noticed that the house had crumbled and now lay in a pile of debris.
