Chapter 21: The Beach House at Big Jim Creek Reserves
Pine Island, Florida. It has a single drivable road to the east as an entrance and exit. Eighteen miles long. Two miles wide. Lots of mangroves and only private, slim beaches. To its southern tip sits the boat/port town of Saint James City. To its northern tip sits the fishing village and marina of Bokeelia. Between the two towns are various dirt roads and the main road called Stringfellow. Among the jungle of the island is Woodstock Airport, Eagle and Flatwoods Preserves, Demere Key to the far west, and Big Jim Creek.
